Lots of rumours of who is going to be on but none confirmed as far as I know.

I haven't heard of most of them, but it does t necessarily bother me. Some of my favourite dancers were totally unknown to me at the start (Danny Mac, Chelsee Healy)

Cheating on Kevin and rubbing his nose in it. That's what she did.

Kevin was like a shadow of himself last year, and it's clear from his social media he's still not 100% over it.

I hope Karen sits out in this series as I’m not enamoured by her choreography.

I like the line up this year. There is no obvious "joke" contestant, and there seem to be some interesting characters in there.

I'm wondering if Sugg will suffer the same fate as Melvin from Kiss FM, who also had a massive teen/young adult following but went out early because his fans weren't watching Saturday night tv. Maybe YouTuber fans are more likely to be at home on a Saturday evening than dance music fans, though. Don't know.

Sports-wise, they're never going to get the likes of Harry Kane or Geraint Thomas (not this year, anyway) but I think that the two sportspeople are decent enough choices.

There are no overweight or older contestants afaik although I don't know who a few of them are. Is anyone over 55/60? Or larger?

As much as I love Strictly it’s basically I’m A Celeb... but in another format. I don’t think it’s ever going to attract A List television or film stars, or current sports people at the peak of their career. I’m always surprised that 'the public' think bigger stars will have the time or inclination to commit to it. (I’m referring to comments I’ve seen on FB, not anything I’ve seen here BTW)

The beauty of it for me is how we get to know the contestants, and how the relationship they have with their pros can effect public opinion.

Is the judges line up still the same do we know?

Yup, Thursday, same judges as last year. Which is a shame. I'd like to see the back of Bruno.

Had no idea who Danny Mac was but he's my all time fave.

Has Kevin ever won? Would love for him or Gio to win this year. Have been "meh" about both the celeb and pro dancers who've won the last few years.

I actually recognise and/or have heard of 11 this year! I think that may be a record for me I don't watch any soaps so when there are a lot of Eastenders/Corrie actors on I don't stand a chance...

No but he's been a finalist in every series he's done except last year with Susan. Hope that doesn't mean he gets a duffer, I love Kevin.

I think the line up is fine. You get to know them as it goes along. I knew 12 of them already.

I saw that showbiz man on Lorraine this morning, and he referred to Stacey as 'Tracey Dooley' continuously (and wasn't corrected by Christine Bleakley). Couldn't make out if he's just an idiot, or was doing it as a deliberate wind-up

Liverpoolone, I think it was him having a dig. Stacey called him out in Twitter for slating people he doesn’t know and reminding him that it’s Stacey Dooley MBE.
