It's a bit early for panto rehearsal, surely? The scenes this week were shot in early July. Steve McFadden probably went on holiday or had some emergency personal stuff to sort out.

Ive never understood why an actor taking a holiday IRL means the character has to go away somewhere too. Surely they can just film scenes ahead. Obviously long breaks like maternity leave etc are different.
