I don't think the rest of the family / household would buy that though. Not sure of timescales but surely Eden has noticed Nick has gone by now. And in Gilead everyone is watching. June has probably missed a few daily walks with the other handmaids, meal times with Martha etc.
They also have to get her back unseen if they are pretending she's been in her room the whole time

An aside... You know how some women hate being referred to as Mrs A Husband's surname, with A being the husband's initial... Not too dissimilar to being an 'Of' like OfFred... I know I hate it!

mrstark I love the way you ended the old thread. It came on top of my 'I'm on' list too.

I've resisted the temptation to watch ahead this weekend as I didn't want it to be over and it wouldn't be the same watching it without this thread.

I have no idea who might be in that car but I'm still clinging to the hope that Nick wasn't shot and he's come back. Although he took his time..

I watched the entire series en route to Australia in January. Took me ages to persuade DH to watch it with me, and then took us a while to catch up. Now we're finally up to where you all are!

I actually think the baby is better off without June around as June makes Serena totally unstable & I dread to think of the damage Serena will do.
