It was revealed quite early on that Alex had a 3 sum with one of his male friends in one of the early challenges. So it’s not surprise really if he is gay.

Oh and he also tried with Megan but that was never going anywhere!

Quite a few have got shit jobs they're clearly trying to see the back of, and some have got jobs that can only be helped by tv exposure, and some are trying to move into a media career.

I don't get how Alex can say he doesn't like PDA and isn't an affectionate person, when he was pissed off with Ellie for not cuddling up to him on their first night as a couple?!

DH met a former LI contestant today, they chatted about the show. He said about 70% is staged...

I thought he was pissed off that Ellie was telling everyone she was 'really trying' and he said she got into bed and never even spoke to him, not even on the first night, just hours after recoupling.

Yeah. Ellie had her faults but Alex was vindictive when he slagged her off to the whole villa for not showing him any affection and accused her of being a game player.

Oh and let's not forget when he put Alex3's hand down his shorts. Poor girl got such mixed signals from him.

TBH dr alex reminds me of DH! (Also a Dr) I met him around the same age as dr alex is and he had that awkwardness about him-great person, dr and friend. Even on one night out informing me that he didn't fancy me and we would always be friends only!

He had only ever had one girlfriend at that point and was more interested in getting plastered with his mates than he was in relationships.

In the end after several months I made the first move-he definitely made the third! We even split up at one point as "he wasn't sure" though he did come crawling and begging back a few months later!

And here we are, many years and three kids on and very happy together. So no I don't think Alex is gay-he is like many a Dr I have known who have a lot of self awareness and wanting to be a great Dr but no ability when it comes to relationships. I think all credit to him in being honest and telling Alex 3 the truth and I also think she is absolutely fucking marvellous 😍

It’s ridiculous that people say Alex is gay just because he hasn’t fancied any of the girls on LI.

I don’t fancy any of the guys on LI, and I can assure you I am not a lesbian!

If I were to hazard a guess, I’d say someone like Rachel Riley or Emma Watson would float his boat.

It is completely obvious to anyone with half a brain he "changed his mind" about Alexandra because Laura 2 didn't like him

I've never really liked dr Alex but I could understand why people wanted to give him a chance. He complained that no one was interested, then when someone is he moans it's too much. And all this rubbish about not wanting to think about the future, you have to one day.
Alexandra deserves so much better than him.

Alex is pretty gay and should be on that show. Observation not opinion, he is disingenuous and whoever said cold and manipulative, i would also add controlling...how he has spoken to women is beyond snobby, he has the charm of someone who wants to manage all aspects of a situation and has a tantrum when unable to. Furthermore, a gay guy on twitter who came out at 40, recognises much of the behaviour that Alex does of pursuing girls then fleeing when there is interest.

I tend to think it's more about pursuing girls because he's on a game show where you go home if you don't pursue girls, but no he hasn't really been into any of them, how dare he.
