Jakers here as well. I love Dannan's accent, in fact all of the accents, except the RP grandchildren.
And Little Princess - is that Jane Horrocks' voice. And Pocoyo - for Stephen Fry.
Tweenies have some really sweet storylines and I love the way they all boss each other around.
Hate big/little cook - little cook is on Nuts TV now, trying to look cool. Don't ask why I was watching that...
Quite like watching Thomas and Noddy too.

saltire · 03/10/2007 18:40

Like Drake and Josh - won't admit it to DSes though.
Don't like Zac and Cody they need a good slap
Me Too - gives CM's a bad name
Balamory
Anything with bloody Sarah Jane in

pssssssttttttttttt

Max and Ruby

I know I am sad, lol....

Niecie · 03/10/2007 18:48

I used to love Bear in the Big Blue House when DS1 was little. Don't even know if it is on now.

Apart from that Come Outside, Charlie and Lola, Old Style Fireman Sam (the new voices are annoying) Tikkabilla (reminds me of Playschool) Doodle Doo, Raven and Sean the Sheep.

The most hated are Me Too, Dora, Wonder Pets and Diego

gibberish · 03/10/2007 18:51

My girls are a bit older now, so I don't recognise many of the programmes that have been mentioned. But I do LOVE Pocoyo - so so so cuuuutteeee!

And who in their right minds could possibly like Big Cook, Little Cook??

I actually like an american programme the girls watch called 'That's so Raven'. Very corny with canned laughter but it is strangely amusing.

gibberish · 03/10/2007 18:51

Aw Neicie, I used to LOVE Bear in the Big Blue House!

Niecie · 03/10/2007 18:54

Bear was so lovely and cuddly, wasn't he?!

And I liked the bit at the end where he sang with Luna the moon.

gibberish · 03/10/2007 18:56

Oh I know

Sorry for getting your name wrong BTW...

maisiemog · 03/10/2007 18:57

I quite like Me Too apart from Granny Murray and the horrid dummy: Claude. They could do without any of that. The songs are quite catchy and I have to sing them on demand to my little boy.
Jim Jam and Sunny, not very keen on that. Very strange looking puppet people.

Niecie · 03/10/2007 19:02

gibberish - didn't even notice the name - I'm just sitting here, reminising, wondering where the years have gone.

I am going back a long way now to when I was a child, because we do have the video so we do still watch occasionally but I love Camberwick Green too. Especially the episode where Windy Miller gets drunk on cider and doesn't get his milling done. That certainly wouldn't be allowed these days.

pyjamagirl · 03/10/2007 19:06

Arthur

come outside

in the night garden

gibberish · 03/10/2007 19:24

Now you and me must be around the same age then niecie.. i remember that episode lol. If someone has a flatulence problem, we call them Windy Miller D'you remember Trumpton too? And Chigley?

Niecie · 03/10/2007 20:28

lol gibberish. I remember Trumpton and Chigley although I didn't like Chigley as much as I didn't like the butler who used to tramp down the hall to answer the phone. Don't ask me why - I think it was the music that went with it.

I notice on the video that Camberwick Green is exactly the same age as me, made in 1966.

gibberish · 03/10/2007 20:35

Hah I was born in 1969. The end of I hasten to add...

Niecie · 03/10/2007 20:48

Same year as my little bro, gibberish. At least you are not yet over 40!

gibberish · 03/10/2007 21:01

Yeah but not far off it...

What's life like on 'the other side'? Tell me that life really does start at 40.

(Sorry for the thread hijack btw...)

Niecie · 03/10/2007 22:51

To tell you the truth gibberish, it is pretty much the same as being in my 30's except that I'm not waiting for a big birthday ending with a '0'. Still watching more children's telly than is absolutely good for me let alone dc.

Still waiting for life to begin but now child bearing is out of the way, I'm working on getting it kick started again. There is a certain freedom in not being expected to produce any more children and being able to think about what I can do next for myself.

Sorry for the hijack too.
