Laura isn't particularly needy or difficult - those aren't the reasons she has been dumped. Although I like Jack2 and think he has potential (once he grows up), neither he nor Wes were right for her. She has coupled up (Hobson's Choice) with young men who are not her equal. A confident and together man would have no difficulty with the open and frank approach that she prefers and could handle someone who isn't just a simpering and giggling Stepford wife (as per Megan and Kaz)
