We didn’t see Georgia looking over at Sam during her dates in the same way...

Doesn't mean she didn't.

Savanna Interview , took this from another forum.
Quite a decent read.

She was recruited via Instagram by a casting producer
-She had to go through about 5 rounds of auditions
-The first round was a group interview at ITV studios with loads of girls and the producers, they asked really personal questions about their dating lives, ex boyfriends, stuff that's happened in their lives from school to now etc. - and that was only the first round
-When they first wake up one the producers tell them where to go i.e. "wake up islanders, girls go to the dressing room, guys stay in the bedroom"
-One night her and one of the boys were chatting loudly in the bedroom pissing people off and the producers spoke to them over the intercom telling everyone to settle down since people had gone to sleep
-She wanted to hook up with Eyal but he was dumped just before the Casa Amor newbies entered
-She was surprised how much Alex talks about himself and shuts off/doesn't listen when other people are talking
-On the first night the producers told the new girls that they had to share a bed with one of the guys or sleep outside by themselves - they couldn't share with another girl
-She shared a bed with Sam initially, but ended up sharing a bed with Wes for the most part but it wasn't really shown much, but she spent alot of time with the other boys as well, even though the edit didn't show it
-On the second day she cried alot by herself and questioned why she'd gone on the show, but original Jack comforted her and made her feel better
-All the newbies were told they weren't allowed to mention anything about the World Cup, the boys kept asking them what the England scores were and how they were doing
-Similar to Big Brother in that they aren't allowed to know what the time was, they weren't allowed to take books, magazines, phones in etc.
-Sponsors contact them through Insta DMs trying to get the islanders to promote their products with discount codes - she only does the ones she likes rather than agreeing to all, e.g. snack bars, protein bars etc
-There's alot of things that weren't shown which she's "not allowed to talk about", such as fights and kisses among other stuff

unique1986 · 16/07/2018 23:52

I'm curious about the fights and other kisses.. Hmm

Missbrick1 · 17/07/2018 00:05

I think G said an immature, bitchy comment hence Jacks comment. She didn’t throw a drink at Dani based on their reactions.

BinkyTheBlinky · 17/07/2018 00:07

Am I correct in saying that when Grace in B.B. chucked her drink over someone it was classed as an assault and she had to leave? Or there was an epic shitstorm or something?

Man she was truly awful wasn’t she.

But if that is correct that might explain why they didn’t show it?

SmileSweetly · 17/07/2018 00:13

Producers are pushing G (a young and immature drama queen) to her limits, I don't think it's fair on her. Nobody is supporting her, they have all turned on her, even Dani (who G has stood by through everything).

I get that she is incredibly annoying and must be hard to live with. But I don't think she's a bad or malicious person.

Josh & Kaz are ringleaders in ganging up on her, with Wes a close second. Their gameplan is to discredit everyone else's relationship, and get rid of G (who is a reminder of Josh's jumping ship without any compassion)

BarbraDear · 17/07/2018 00:27

I want to know what was edited out!! Georgia definitely did/said something to annoy Jani.

Sam is going to get his heart broken, Georgia was loving the drama the whole way through and will be off with one of the new boys (or Jack2) within a few days.

SmileSweetly · 17/07/2018 00:29

Surely not Jack2 though? He seemingly cannot stand her...

I reckon he'll be after one if the new girls (poor Laura) he would rather be with anyone but her.

BarbraDear · 17/07/2018 00:30

I don't think she threw a drink, I doubt Dani would have taken it so well and only told her she wasn't speaking 'for the rest of the night'.

Whatever it was though, I think it might have switched off Dani's support of Georgia.

MrStarkIDontFeelSoGood · 17/07/2018 00:34

I am concerned about the mental health of Georgia and Megan beyond this to be honest.

Not so much the others but those two

In the last week or two Georgia has become a bit of a laughing stock with the IM LOYAL ME bollocks

Megan will face the press she's received and a kind of nasty exposure I'm not sure they'll have warned her about

Witch25 · 17/07/2018 00:37

I really like Dani after tonight. She didn’t bitch about Georgia behind her back, (unlike some...Kaz, Josh and Wes) but she said it to her face.
I also think Dani might be feeling betrayed. She took Georgia’s side in the whole kiss debacle and stood up for “her girl” because she believed G was loyal. Now she has seen that Georgia’s loyalty is only to herself and that G is in this for the game. The two girls bonded over their boys going to Casa Amor and them staying true. I would feel let down if I was Dani.

SmileSweetly · 17/07/2018 00:46

I've gone off Dani tonight...Showed the nation what a shit friend she is, I guess the stories about her in the press are true after all

Pinook · 17/07/2018 01:19

I would go round the bend with no books, reading matter! Appreciate this is why they do it.

Pinook · 17/07/2018 01:32

@witch25, I think similar to you. I respect Dani for not gossiping behind Georgia’s back and telling her what she thinks. I did think, though, near the end of what we saw of that scene of them Dani was a bit harsh in saying to Georgia something along the lines of ‘shut up, you are boring me now’. Soon after Georgia, probably in retaliation to Dani saying that, lashed out in some way, probably verbally, which was edited out.

MakeItStopNeville · 17/07/2018 02:09

I think Jani are beginning to panic that it’s not all in the bag as much as they thought. They’ve been increasingly bitchy...Georgia, Charlie, etc. but it just makes them look bad. Josh and Kaz are vile, although impossibly attractive.

I’m also really hoping Laura gets it on with Paul. He’s haaaaawwwt!

SmellMyBeads · 17/07/2018 05:29

Just watched the episode. If that new guy isn't gay then I'm santa claus. Wtf, he is so so so so camp!

MountFuji · 17/07/2018 06:34

I think the backlash Georgia is facing (as opposed to the likes of Megan, Wes, Josh etc.) is the sheer disingenuous way she handles everything.

Megan Wes and Josh were at least up front about their actions and showed some contrition. Georgia has repeatedly refused to accept any responsibility for her actions at all. It is infuriating watching it for one hour - it must be a nightmare to live with. Just pure hypocrisy.

MountFuji · 17/07/2018 06:52

I think the new guy Paul is the best of the entire bunch. Lovely voice as well and not in the least bit cringe, which is very refreshing.

Jack 2, would be doing Laura a favour. Let Paul be the knight in shining armour, the real man she has been looking for...

TheLastNigel · 17/07/2018 07:02

The backlash for Georgia is because since the josh stuff ( y

TheLastNigel · 17/07/2018 07:03

...(which did mess with her mind a bit I think) she has been just super super annoying...

FabulouslyGlamorousFerret · 17/07/2018 07:11

It's funny how Georgias 'crimes' are edited out but the response to them is shown - I still think Ellie calling her an ugly cunt must have been in response to something really nasty that Georgia said. Same as Jack calling her a little shit.

Bluntness100 · 17/07/2018 07:22

I can't work out what happened either, something was said or done, and I think they just cut it at the wrong place. So it looks weird when jack calls her a little shit.

I do think the producers have fucked with Georgia more than any other contestant in the history of the program. The twist was all about her and her "loyalty". Even flack loaded the word.

MissDollyMix · 17/07/2018 07:26

I’ve had a night to think about this and now I think that range argument between Georgia and Dani was a bit staged. I think the producers were asking them to have a ‘heated discussion’ and they were doing their best but, to me, it wasn’t a genuine exchange. I think it’s quite possible that, given how madly she was gesticulating with that glass she accidentally split her drink on Dani. They both giggled - or did something that the producers didn’t think fit with he narrative and Georgia resumed by stropping off. Dani’s response “I’m not talking to you for the rest of the night“ is a strange one. It’s not something that’s said in anger, it’s more like something a parent would say to a child who’s been very naughty.

MissDollyMix · 17/07/2018 07:28

I don’t much like Georgia. I get why people find her annoying but this actually does feel a bit like bullying. Both by the other people in the villa and the producers. It’s making me feel uncomfortable.

MrsFassy · 17/07/2018 07:31

I don't think Dani was being a shit friend at all, if anything the reverse. If you listen to what she was actually saying, especially the part about it being okay if Georgia didn't like Sam, she was allowed not to and should 'crack on' with one of the new boys if that's what she wanted.

I think that's why Dani got so frustrated, she and G had had that discussion, all of which we didn't see so we have no idea if Georgia said something in that which made it clear to Dani she didn't like Sam as much as she was making out, then Dani got annoyed when in front of Sam, G was singing a different tune.

Was anything Dani said wrong? No I don't think so. They can't be together in there any more, so she was right saying if that's what they really wanted they should have gone.

As I said look how frustrated we all get after an hour of just watching Georgia, imagine how it must feel living with her, trying to be supportive and realising she's not what she seems.

For what it's worth, Sam and Georgia would have been so much better if they'd said, we're not together, this is a game, let's play it for now and when we get out we'll see how it goes. Would have seemed far more genuine than them trying to convince everyone, including themselves, how much they want to be together and how hard being separated is.
