It was clear Megan did take it as a joke or there would have been drama afterwards, if not from her, from everyone else discussing it.

Just watching last night's now. I love the bromance between the boys, particularly Jack and Alex. So cute. Also funny how everyone is incredulous that Alexandra actually fancies Alex. Love them together and think they might be rivals now to win to Jani.

The Alexes give me the creeps. She seems nice but I think he's patronising and entitled and it kind of feels like it's yet another woman brought in on a plate for him to have a go at without success . Maybe that's just me as he seems very popular!

I haven't seen him patronising anyone either, in the face of some pretty extreme stupidity!

Completely agree with whoever said Sam and Georgia are the worst couple ever. You could see her annoyance with him last night...it's like they're trying to talk themselves into a relationship and persuade themselves they're great together but there's no substance.

I am a LI virgin so have no clue what happens in the final weeks - do they try and shake the couples up and bring in new people or do they just do challenges like the Twitter one? I can see it getting very dull otherwise...

I'm not sure, I think Laura and jack and Ellie and Charlie are also fairly crap couples.

I think the alexs are sweet together and look suited but it's early. I believe jack and Dani really do like each other.

I think josh is seriously into Kaz but I don't think she will stick with it on the outside for long and I also think Megan will have her head turned on the outside.

I love Megan and am basically watching it for her and Jack 2 , who I think is lush. Even Wes is really growing on me, everyone else is so boring

Oh and Sam, who without the eyebrows would definitely be 'my type on paper'

They should have brought Eyal back instead of that Kieron, I mean what the actual? He was such a non event, an old islander would have made things at least more interesting for a few minutes

He was mega patronising to the girls he was paired up last week, about their jobs. He also acts entitled to every girl that comes in on a plate for him. Think it was Ellie in particular that he was kissing and cracking on with even when it was clearly uncomfortable for her. The feeling on the thread at the time was that he was acting entitled, like he was 'owed' a woman cause all his mates had one. These threads are fickle though and opinions change more often than the thong bikinis.

I agree. Didn't he pinch Ellie's nose during a date and called her 'cute'?
He also spent ages making fun of one of the girl's 'farming' accent.
And he was quite aggressive and rude when Dani told him Ellie didn't fancy him.

I still don't like him- and I can't get over the staged 'how do I approach girls' moments he has with Jack. He's not an Amish, he doesn't need to be physically shown how to introduce himself to a girl.

There is a weird editing going on with him and it feels like occasionally his true colours come out- and it's not good.

Ellie and Charlie were the least popular couple on the App. They will not last outside. I think he's just putting up with her for now, to get through this, but quite obviously thinks she is a nasty bitch but has no other option without coming across as a git so is biding his time.

Couple I most like are boy Alex and Jack1-their bromance is amazing! Loved Jack's little dance to himself when Alex was going on a date.

I think Alex squared are a good couple, have a lot in common and seemed sweet together. Boy Alex is obviously a lovely chap and very popular in the villa so easy to get in with.

What's to love about Megan? She doesn't really do much except talk about how much she likes Wes and kiss him.

Makes you wonder how much Charlie and Ellie actually know about one another if she knows or has asked nothing about his family/why he doesn’t need to work...

And that stunt to propose her being his girlfriend was EMBARRASSING! Oh well, at least it’s not Charlie having to scrub that Ribera/wine out of his skinny jeans!!

Jack 2 is attractive (eyes & body) but there is something about him that reminds me of Butthead. It’s the jaw, long face and toilet brush like hair...

I'm baffled how Megan can be anyone's favourite. She has shown no positive side to her character at all. Indeed she's shown a complete lack of self awareness or integrity, been quite mean at times and doesn't even compensate for any of that by being clever or witty. There is nothing there, just giggling and a vacant stare. Even her dad has left the country due to shame!

I think Megan has lots about her and has showed a few times that she's very self aware, for example when she was walking to Samira about boys fancying her for her looks but not her personality.

I would imagine her Dad is struggling with the complete vitriol in the media about his daughter.

There's sth about Megan I like and I've been trying to work it out. I think it's how firmly she goes for what she wants whether that's all the surgery or a particular man. There's a sort of acceptance to her that people do and will judge her but she doesn't really care, not deeply. A quiet confidence? Am confusing myself now.

Wes is clever and funny, I'm sure even he'd get bored coupling up with a fembot. There must be more to her.

I honestly think now that Wes and Megan are the only couple who actually really feel the same about each other (maybe jack and Dani, but thats debatable)

It is Love Island, and although they may fall apart on the outside, I think the one true thing in that villa is that Wes and Megan do in fact think they are 'in love'

No, I’m sorry, I just can’t get on board with the Megan love. She’s just cold and can be quite bitchy. Her biggest concern when Wes and Laura split up was not being able to use Laura’s hairbrush anymore I agree with those who say she is vacuous and slightly irritating. But. I would pick her any day over Kaz! I’m not a fan of Georgia at all but the way that Kaz and Josh smirk at her makes me feel very uncomfortable. There’s something of the bully about Kaz.

I agree about Kaz. I liked her initially but I am liking her less and less as time goes on.

The nonsense about Alex 🙄 I think people are determined to find something to dislike about him
