Bluntless I find myself nodding along as I read every one of your posts.

I also believe there are many different forms of intelligence and just because someone is educated does not mean that they'll be interesting or engaging. I also don't think you can judge solely on what job a person does as to how intelligent they are; there are many other factors at play. One of the most intelligent people I know works in a supermarket, simply through circumstance and some serious bad luck in life.

I openly admit to enjoying Love Island. It's amazing the number of people from all walks of life who go "oh me too!" If anyone gets snobby about it the Guardian are writing analytical pieces about it now so you can tell them it's ok
DH and his colleagues in his law firm definitely sit around discussing Love Island. DH was asking his boss if they could find a job for Rosie now as he thought she'd make a good addition to the office

I do question why we watch as little happens and we see next to nothing of what goes on in there.
It never feels the series is going anywhere.
Plus it is highly staged and fake.
I love BB and even that is bad enough these days.

I prefer american bb over the uk one

@areyoubeingserviced DH is a partner in a law firm, I'm a chartered surveyor and I know a consultant surgeon who watches it too. We all love it (in a completely post modern way obvs ).

I'm surprised at solicitor who wishes his firm to hire Rosie. My daughter works for one of the top twenty and the opinion is Rosie will no longer be considered reputable and able to practice at all now. It would seem from her interviews Rosie is aware of this and doesn't intend to.

Why can't they watch/know about the football? How would that effect anything on the show?

I'm not sure if some one has already mentioned this but has anyone seen the video online comparing the 2 angles of the kiss and how at one side Wes and Megan were kissing and finish as Georgia and Jack were just beginning to stand up, yet in the other both couples kiss at the same time?

It's really weird. The clips don't match.

I'd agree a lot of the girls are looking for a certain type of guy, muscled, with banter, good looking, confident, past that they don't care.

That's where Alex falls down, he's not got banter and he's not overly confident, nor is he ripped.

The guys are the same though. They want girls who are fit, have banter, are flirty and fun, and past that they don't care.

I think that's why Samira falls down, she doesn't really have banter, isn't flirty and isn't really fun round blokes.

Megan isn't much past flirty, but that seems to be enough for them.

Basically they all just want someone hot.
