I think Ellie was trying but just wasn't feeling it. Then when Alex gave her a little bop on the nose and said "you're cute" she was like, right, this is definitely not going to work. How incredibly condescending of him! I don't think much of Alex - I think he's a fake nice guy as opposed to a real one- he acts nice only because he doesn't have any banter rather than because he's actually nice (like Jack is).

I can't fault Ellie so far.
Alex really is painfully awkward and self conscious but then again Hugh Grant has made a career portraying bumbling, socially inept posh guys so some people must like it.

The problem is that the rest of the country won't agree and will feel sorry for Alex because you know, all men are entitled to the woman that they want.

In that preview looks more like Ellie is being honest to me. But I guess we’ll tell more from the main programme.

I think Alex might think because they’ve kissed already they should be kissing all the time now but she wasn’t into it and said so too. She’s been pretty honest so far.

I'm actually starting to warm to Eyal now. Never thought I'd say those words. He seems a lot less drippy and creepy and a lot more normal since he had sex. I wouldn't have put him and Megan together, but they do seem very natural and comfortable with each other.

Alex is soooooooo not Hugh Grant! Hugh Grant, at least in most roles, is attractive, with lovely floppy hair, blue eyes, masses of charm, a lovely cute voice etc etc

None of the above apply to Alex.

I have to say that I also think that Adam is genuinely much more into Zara than he was either of the other two. After their horrible slobbery kiss, he seemed so upbeat and happy in a way he never had been with the others

I think that’s just very clever editing. Rosie did say on Love Island: Aftersun that he told her exactly the same stuff he told Zara.

He's not their equal for social skills, craic and confidence tho. He doesn't have much emotional intelligence. Jack, who sells pens bless him wipes the floor with him on that front.

Am I the only one who finds Jack and Dani deathly dull? She's there to become the next reality tv girl next door figure and whilst I think they're likeable enough I don't give the relationship long once they're out of the Villa.

I'm sure he gives all his birds the same shtick, but it was very obvious he wasn't really feeling it with either Kendall or Rosie.

I think Alex is trying his best. He's trying not to pressure her and give her space despite liking her but she's just giving him the cold shoulder. Hope she talks to him ASAP and let him know. Even though he said he already feels like it's a no, poor chap
