New thriller started last week

A girl is found murdered who disappeared 6yrs ago

E1 on demand - e2 on this Saturday so plenty of time to catch up

Bit like the fall as in you know who the killer is from the start

Anyone watching?

I ws going to start suggesting a new thread for series 2 of Hidden with a plea for no spoilers as the Welsh language series wiil start next week.

But I cannot find any mention of when the English language version will be shown. Suspect it will be some time in the summer

So currently only available on BBC Wales on Tuesdays as from 11th.

(But if the storyline is yet another young woman kidnapped and abused I will not stay with it!)

But do have a fire stick which can acquire programmes

"After the body of a former teacher is discovered in a house on an estate in the mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, DCI John and DS Vaughan are called in to investigate the case.
Three local youths, Mia, Connor and Lee, are suspected to be involved in the murder, but the case becomes even murkier when rumours about the victim’s previous misdeeds come to light."

Bonus Family is Swedish - not a thriller but blooming good.

@rosegoldwatcher - do you think there will be enough people watching the Welsh version to have a new thread?! No offence intended to anyone in Wales or a Welsh speaker, but suspect there will be more when (and if) they release the English language version which I suspect want be until the summer.

I am generally out on Tuesday evenings so wouldn't be able to watch this version live anyway.
Happy to delay gratification until the English version is released.

So just to clarify unless you live in Wales and have BBC Wales you can't watch it until the summer?

@BuzzLiteYear - if you have cable tv you can access BBC Wales in England - it is channel 864 0n Virgin. If not you can get it on iplayer.

I have looked ahead (onscreen TV Guide) to Tuesday 11th at 9pm. Hidden Series 2 Episode 1 on BBC Wales - the description of the episode is in English - so maybe the series will be too?!

NB - BBC in England is showing series 2 of The Split at the same time. (You know, the one with Nicola Walker as a divorce lawyer.)

What did we watch that was a week later in England

I think the Welsh version starting on 11th will then be available on BBC iPlayer.

Anyhow, closer to the date I will start a new thread and if no one uses it that will be that!

(I think from when the Welsh version of Keeping Faith - not sure if that is the right title - was shown first on BBC Wales, it didn't have english sub titles)

HMM! According to Wikipedia, Hidden series 2, Welsh version, has already been shown (on S4C) in Wales - in November and December 2019. So perhaps the soon to begin showing on BBC4 Wales is in English or at least subtitled?

Well - at this rate we will all be tuning in or iPlayering to find out what it is.

Hadn't realised it had already been shown on BBC Wales and would be quite soon for a repeat, so maybe it is the English language version.

So have made a note to myself to start of new thread. All being well earlier on than the programme start on 11th

Okay - think I have workerd out what is going on.

Was trying to set a series link and was offered BBC Wales on Tuesday but also BBC4 the following Saturday.

So will be a bit like Guilt where you could watch as episode 5 days before BBC England.

I did try and set up a separate thread so that those watching in Scotland didn't create spoilers for those watching later on BBC2 but nobody took the time.

So not sure worth setting up 2 threads for Hidden, but if only one would mean that anyone watching on BBC4 should avoid thread between tues-sat as viewer in Wales would be commenting on episode they hadn't yet seen!

I will be watching it on BBC4 on Saturdays then.

I've only just found this thread. I've watched the English Welsh version Series 2, ep 1 on iplayer this evening.

Series one was brilliant.

How many episodes in series 2? I can't stand waiting for a week for a new episode so will binge watch it all together.
