Couldn’t see another thread and the last one is full!

I love J/D and just have a huge grin on my face whenever they are on screen. Same with Wes and Laura. They genuinely seem to like each other.

100% think Adam has tried it on with Megan. He will have been surprised she didn’t pick him for a date, that kind of man does not understand rejection.

Charlie is super creepy. I don’t like blonde men at all though but he reminds me of the lad off This Is England....the one who was always fighting with the main lot.

Just watching last night's episode. Is anyone else really sick of the phrase 'that's where my head's at'?! It's like the 'pied' of this series. Both Eyal and Alex coming across a bit desperate and Eyal a bit slimy, I think he had his confidence knocked by Hayley and is desperate to feel desirable again. Alex is sweet and would treat Megan well but he needs to think of himself as a catch as well. A bit more confidence and self belief would make him more attractive.

Oh that's quite dull, but actually I really hope that's all it is, I hope nothing bad has happened. Wouldn't he have known that he was going to need to resit before he went in though?

Wasn't she stripped of her Miss GB title because she had sex on telly? I didn't watch it, but I remember her being on Loose Women arguing with the runner up who ended up taking the title instead?

I thinknwith Miss GB Zara the "official line" was the family illness but in reality it was due to her being stripped of her title. She was already in a pretty fragile state before that all happened and I think it was the kind thing to do to not have her deal with the fallout in public.

You can't resit third year exams, if he failed his degree it's done I think, you can only appeal. As such I don't think rumour can be true,,,

Also I understand from my daughter Rosie left her law firm three months ago and hasn't worked as a solicitor post qualification. As such, either she quit for this show or they declined to keep her on due to thr show, maybe she decided it wasn't for her.

Daughters view is she will struggle to work as a solicitor now as she will be not seen as "reputable",

No, you receive your degree classification and results in June or I did back when.

Two lads I knew lost out on grad schemes as they hadn't managed to even get a Third. He could be in this position

You receive degree results on last day of term, although that's not the degree classification. So for many unis that's this week and next for prelim results.

As said, I don't think he can have left for resits, they aren't available for final year normally, and even if they were would not be for awhile yet.

I don't think the rumour is true.

bluntness a pp on the last thread said about a solicitor not being able to go on Take Me Out as the Law Soc said it would bring the profession into disrepute or something, can't imagine they'd take a more lenient view with this. She must have decided it wasn't for her.

Yes I'm thinking she thought it wasn't for her. It appears she finished her training contract and left the firm, but no one knows why she left, if it was her choice or theirs. They may have declined to keep her on. She may have declined to stay.

It's a long hard slog to become a qualified solicitor though. Weird to walk away as soon as you qualify. Doubtful she will ever practice as a qualified solicitor following love Island.

The inverted snobbery around Alex is odd isn't it ? It's like they all think he should be "above" or "better than" a show like Love Island but what are they inadvertently acknowledging about themselves if that's how they feel?

I sort of suspect that Alex may be thinking that this might be the door into the celebrity circuit of TV doctors, or lawyers in Rosie’s case. The next Dr Christian and Judge Rinder perhaps?! Grin

Not sure what Nial is studying and whether it's differs depending on the subject, but I'm in my third year of a nursing degree and if we fail any assignment or exams this year we can re-sit. Guess it could be true 🤔

Eliss, Are you sure? My understanding was resit or retake was not an automatic right, it was reviewed by the board of examiners and students then offered a resit based on thr outcome of that meeting and there is certain criteria to be met, and Resits are basically the following year and at a cost.

For most resits are not an option, but it would be unlikely a final year student got their results and had to go for an immediate resit. He would not even have his degree classification yet.

I just struggle to see how this could be true. Are you saying nurses after completing their degrees are allowed to go in and resit right away?

I'd love a double eviction big brother- style of Adam and Eyal. It was so desperate and snide of Eyal to 'claim' Megan. Whether she found that as off putting as everyone watching did, will say a lot about her, time will tell.
I find Adam deeply unattractive- sallow and unwell looking and no charisma. His self worth relies on his ability to win over everyone.
Not too keen on Alex. He seemed be entitled to a woman and has been having mini tantrums about it from day 1. But I think maybe the fact that he's jeopardised his whole career must be playing on his mind. To not be seen as in demand and attractive (the whole point to the show and indicator of job opportunities after it) will mean the gamble wasn't worth it, which might be why it's knocking him.

Well we would know if we had failed before the degree is completed. I failed an assignment earlier this year and I've just re-submitted it. Still have an exam to go and if anyone fails it they can re-sit in August.

Like I said, i only know my own degree for certain

The papers are saying that Rosie said something like, "you [Adam] had a go at Niall for being dishonest and then you did the same thing".

I think Niall has been kicked out for some past misdemeanor ...
