Anyone else disappointed in Season 5?

serena it wasn’t my favourite but I did like it. I binged it all quickly which I think helped. As it’s based over a few days it felt more like a long film, I don’t think I’d have enjoyed it as much if I’d spread it out.

Proper trailer due tomorrow!

Once I realised the whole of season 5 was the riot, it was fine. It was also much better watching it for a second time, I'd forgotten all the little stories (pennsatucky escaping to the guards cottage at the end, Brooke's hanging library). Can't wait for the trailer tomorrow!

Questions I have for the new series:
What the repercussions of Humps' death are... will they realise that he died from the blowing in the IV tube and not from Daya shooting him...
How long it takes them to notice Pennsatucky is gone and where to (does rapist guard share the cottage with anyone?)
How long will it take them to realise that Linda from purchasing isn't an inmate
Where they are all going on the buses (I assume Max?)

I'm sure there are more

I go camping on 30th July for 5 days Will have to avoid this thread!! Wonder how many episodes I can fit in in three evenings

Terrible thing to say - I thought the first four seasons, particularly season 4, were brilliant - but last season was very patchy. I gave up half-way through, I read an interview with Jenji Kohan who said that season 5 was bad because they lost a lot of the regular writers. Kohan suggested that the new season would be back on form, but I'm not sure if I can face the whole of season 5, can I catch up without going back to it?
