Yea it was confirmed a while go, I think around the end of series 4 that there would definitely be at least 7 seasons. Hopefully it’ll be good to see it changed up a bit.

Can't believe I've missed this thread so far! Have been googling every few days to try and find out the release date.
Can't believe it's not until July, after the summer holidays have started, so I won't be able to binge watch, plus we're going on holiday on the 30th!! Will have to avoid IG and unfollow them on Facebook etc til I'm caught up to avoid spoilers 😭😬

Agree that they could ditch Piper, she's one of my least favourite characters, definitely doesn't deserve Alex 😅
I actually like Caputo, yes, he has lots of flaws (porn at work 🤢 far too lead by his penis etc), but I think his heart is in the right place and he does genuinely want the best for the inmates. It's really important that the men in the show are all flawed in some way, so there is no element of 'bad women, good men' which would be so easy to fall into in a drama about women in prison.
Looking forward to seeing what happens with Morello, Daya, Pennsatucky and the guard/counsellor man with the Ukrainian wife who I have momentarily forgotten the name of 😳

"This is a whole new world" the voice says - so it must at least start in Max.

I think Joe is OK and he tries to be a good guy - but he is too lead by his gigantic dick to be that much of a "good guy" when it comes to women. But as a warden they could do a lot worse (& have).
