Bethenny used to be very witty and funny and vulnerable. Now she seems stressed and bitter/unhappy even tho she has a new man. I suspect her stalker ex (he was prosecuted after threatening her in front of her daughter) and ongoing custody battle are taking a toll. I'm still amazed Luann has alcohol issues & is back in rehab, she hid it well.

I haven’t seen RHONY for ages. Which channel is it on (sorry for being thick, couldn’t work it out from previous posts).

What happened to the very thin Jewish-Japanese one?

Bravo pays for the cast trips. I love RHONY, it’s ludicrous entertainment. These women aren’t friends outside of the show, the show is their job, at best they were acquaintances on the tiny Manhattan social scene prior to getting the RHONY gig. They wouldn’t choose to go on holiday with each other, never mind pay for everyone. Bravo pays, it is well known.

The thin ‘Asian Jew’ (as she always said) was only on it for a season or two. Her useless H was having an affair, she was in the process of getting a divorce when she left the show.

I haven’t seen the latest series, I don’t have HAYU or whatever. I watch on SKY/Bravo when they are on. The most recent season I saw, Carole & Bethany were still mate and Luann was in that Egyptian river re Tom (that was bizarre).

I like Sonia but she is a car crash of a woman. Not long bankrupt but jetting all over the world on a permanent holiday (I follow on Instagram).

The wheels started coming off Luann’s public face when she was arrested for a whole load of stuff (including intoxication) at the end of last year. I agree that the timing of her rehab is suspect though, more a publicity (or the avoidance of) than an actual attempt to rehabilitate.

I have Amazon Prime! This is very exciting!

MsJackson, old seasons are usually on Bravo (Sky). Looks like latest seasons are on online/streamed tv channels - HULA which is available through Amazon Prime & HAYU.

I can’t find Hulu (sorry for previous too) on my Amazon Prime and HAYU is sub service. I like RHONY but i’m Not paying a sep sub for it .

I thought i got a months free trial with it and binged watched i only think i paid a couple of quid after that. Worth it for me as i. Addicted to million dollar listings.

ITVBe on Free view is where I find it. Carole seems so resentful now to Bethenny that it can't just be about Adam not being offered a salary re photograph's for Bethenny's disaster charity. (Carole & Adam were slowly splitting up around then I think). I like Sonja, despite the fact she lives in her own special La La Land, as there's not an ounce of malice in her.

Thanks everyone. I must look at ITVBe, which is the only channel I have from those mentioned. Every time I turn on though it’s RHOA, which is bonkers and I find stressful and to watch.

I also can’t believe Carole has had more work done. Her face full of filler was scary enough in old seasons. I take it she split up with the drippy younger man she was writing a cookbook with, then? Luann split up with the guy everyone else had already dated? And Dorinda is still with that awful sweaty obvious coke head? Oh I must catch up! .

I really don’t like Dorinda. She is the biggest shit stirrer and really does have a drink problem. She is a nightmare, arguing and waving her arms around.
Then acts all innocent when she gets called out.

I downloaded RHO Sydney to watch on holiday. O. M. G. Officially the most bonkers one yet. Anyone else on that one?

I’m also keeping up with Potomac, which is OK.

And I’m addicted to MillionDollar Listing too. The ‘coming up in this season’ trail at the end of yesterday’s NYC episode looks intriguing to say the least.

Sorry, reading that back, it looks snarky. It wasn’t meant that way, I just didn’t want people to get the wrong end of the stick if we keep referring to her as ‘Asian Jew’ (despite the fact that either of those identifiers seemed to be every third word out of her mouth). I’m aware of how offensive it can look to someone who hasn’t seen the show/her.

I don’t watch any of the other US RH franchises. Used to watching RH of Orange County, years ago, but not seen it for years. Not since that awful one who works in insurance divorced her lovely, long suffering H (Jon? Don? Ron?).

The only ones I watch are RHONY & RHOC (Cheshire). The Cheshire one is so tacky and silly. I follow most of them on Instagram, Rachel seems the most ‘normal’. Nermina just seems as vain as anything, all over posed, over filtered selfies. Ester’s looks like a 90’s lads mag . Had to unfollow Tanya after posting endless holidays, particularly the ‘family’ holiday they took during her daughter’s GCSEs, leaving her DD at home. Lots of ‘miss my baby girl’ type salt in the wound pool/cocktail selfies. Grim.

Blimey, I sound overinvested.

I love RHBH but to be honest, I can’t remember the last season at all it was all abit game wasn’t it? I think they are due some new ones or bring back some of the old ones, I say.

I’ve only ever caught BH once, so not into the characters enough —yet—.

I like the Dallas one and I do indulge in the Cheshire one, although it’s the most ridiculous of the franchises in my opinion. There are some I just don’t understand. Where IS Potomac? .

I've just caught up with last weeks. I love OC, BH & NJ. I also love VR, but am waaaay behind!

Potomac is near Washington DC. They are on series 3 now, the first series was hard going but it got better.

RHOBH is probably my favourite but yes the last season was a bit of a snooze. Rinna was all ‘contained’ and not her usual outrageous self but I can understand why she’s doing that after the last couple of seasons I really liked Eileen and miss her. Can’t stand Dorit. Used to like Erika but I got a sense that she’s had enough, she was monosyllabic on the reunions.

Vulture.com has a fabulously bitchy analysis of the current series. Re yet another booze fueled dinner party bust up, at both ends of the table (Luann v Dorinda one end & Carole v Bethenny the other end): "Its like someone fed Dorinda after midnight and she turned into a gremlin". Fabulous!
