EdWinchester I'm fascinated by Sonja's townhouse too, I don't know why she doesn't sell it and move into a small flat. It must cost a fortune to run even before taking redecorating into account.

Have you noticed there's a multistory car park right next to it? I guess that might make it less saleable.

Whatever happened to Ramona's Pinot Grigio? They never mention it. The RHONY is my absolute favourite, I love Bethenny and Carol and Dorinda is an absolute hoot. Sownya looks really bizarre in the talking heads bits, I think she has too many lashes on.

Sonja's divorce settlement was used up years ago by very bad decisions. She decided to be a film producer and underwrited (underwrote?) a film for $Millions and was sued for $7m when it wasn't made. She was given townhouse and other properties and exH pays for child but she basically f*cked it up.

Yup, toaster oven, Nigerian football team, dress designer, "lifestyle brand" amongst her many job descriptions not forgetting climbing on Skinny Girl bandwagon with "Tipsy Girl"! Something even Ramona wouldn't touch with a bargepole after being initially approached.

Peony - you're absolutely right but she's got it in her head that selling the Town House will be her Swan Song so refuses to consider. Amazing location - Upper East Side Manhattan where this type of house is rare as hen's teeth and despite a garden (small, but NY!) and a large balcony will sell for a lot less than few years ago because she hasn't been able to maintain e.g no hot water!

BTW: Dorinda and John. Why!?? She said she found him a bit "Mafioso" style when in reality he's a social climbing, sweaty, 'player' (looking for hook ups in regular places), glorified dry cleaner with anti bed bug / moth business attached. Bethenny PAID him for her new amazing closet to be moth proofed and massive failure. Also, notice his business has been re branded for RHONY purposes as a Courture repair specialist!!!

So embarrassing and outing for me. Thank God I haven't got Amazon Prime!!

Bethany uses their state school system which is refreshing.

It always amazes me how those appartments can look like inner London dodgy high rises from the outside but are worth millions inside.

I must confess when i was in NYC recently i did wonder about thinking where they live. Like i said unless its a SJP Brownstone in Greenwich Village the blocks all look the same to me.

I will admit that when I stayed in the West Village last year, I went to some of Andy Cohen’s regular haunts in the vain hope I’d see him (and then ignore him, I’m not that bad).

I’ve also been to some of the restaurants they’ve been to on the show 😳

Oh dont, i actually went to a bistro i had seen Andy Cohen and SJP at on instagram! I didnt go out of my way to but the xmas lights were up so i took a photo of the tree then went in and had a coffee. She lives about five doors down. Embarrassing really but its my most favourite part of NYC.

Sownya's townhouse reminds me of Grey Gardens.
