BGT Week 3 auditions.

Every week Soubriquet, I watch. Ready to be bowled over. Never happens but i can't help but think maybe next week. Grin

YerAuntFanny · 28/04/2018 21:21

Meh, that was ever so slightly obvious wasn't it?!

I can't deal with screechy prepubescent singing, I don't care how good the song is or how cute the kid looks just no. No. No.

I missed last week but so far I've seen 2 golden buzzers being used for pretty mundane acts and I doubt it'll get much better.

Soubriquet · 28/04/2018 21:21

Always the hope

The best act I think I've ever enjoyed is spellbound

YerAuntFanny · 28/04/2018 21:23

Spellbound, was that the shadow dancers?

They were amazing!

Piggywaspushed · 28/04/2018 21:23

Susan Boyle blew me away.

Petalflowers · 28/04/2018 21:27

Munson has justmgoogled the lad. Not only in the Voice kids, but also in the West End Show, School,Of Rock. Talented guitair player.

nancy75 · 28/04/2018 21:28

I liked the shadow dancers & diversity were good at the time because they were new then and we hadn’t seen it all before

MrsTommyBanks · 28/04/2018 21:35

I willing to put money on there being a massive sob back story about the father and sons terrible family bereavements in the paper tomorrow.
That said I enjoyed the song. I've known a lot of loved people that died too young.

Soubriquet · 28/04/2018 21:36

No spellbound were the gymnastics group

Petalflowers · 28/04/2018 21:40

Spellbound were superb.

GColdtimer · 28/04/2018 22:36

Blimey Another, you might not like the act but no need to be quite so unpleasant.

YerAuntFanny · 29/04/2018 07:49

It's a TV talent show.

The whole point of it is to judge the acts, that's why there's a cough public vote at the end of it.

Piggywaspushed · 29/04/2018 08:09

I've missed what another said that was unpleasant tbh!

I was distracted by the boy's precocious singing/ guitar playing and the whooping audience so I actually missed any moving qualities of the song. if we hadn't had the spiel beforehand , I wouldn't have known, unlike some past contestants who have sung about relatives etc quite clearly and movingly. I thought these two were too commercial to be believable (and the fact that the boy does the rounds may show that ; it seems cynical to add dad for BGT audience imo) and their diction was too sloppy to understand/ hear the emotion.

GColdtimer · 29/04/2018 18:49

Saying the father and son had a "creepy" relationship and the boy was going to get "slaughtered" at school on Monday. I don't think that's judging the acts.

mogloveseggs · 29/04/2018 19:33

Hmmmm just watched last nights. Dont think they were golden buzzer worthy and there wasnt much that floated my boat at all.
