Anyone watching? Loved Mary and full of admiration for the crews, carrying on regardless. Why was it their job to check the suicide for notes though?

Mary was lovely and I’m so glad Jessica was ok! mrseliza go for it! My dad changed career 9 years ago to become a paramedic aged 48. Best thing he ever did.

CaptainHammer · 02/05/2018 18:54

Sorry MissEliza

mypickleliesovertheocean · 03/05/2018 21:00

Anyone else watching tonight? I'm a glutton for punishment, 12 hour shift in ambulance control followed by watching it on telly Grin (different trust though)

SneakyGremlins · 03/05/2018 21:06

Me! First time viewer Smile

NakedMum33and3rd · 03/05/2018 21:07

Why did thy change the episode they were originally going to show? Does anyone know?

SneakyGremlins · 03/05/2018 21:11

They did??

NakedMum33and3rd · 03/05/2018 21:16

Yeh. They said at the beginning that there is a change to the originally billing of the episode being shown. I'm wondering if it is because last week they showed clips of the episode that was going to be on this week of a baby that wasn't breathing?

TheAntiBoop · 03/05/2018 21:18

Getting old is no fun

SneakyGremlins · 03/05/2018 21:20

Poor Ernest Sad

expatinscotland · 03/05/2018 21:20

Poor Ernie.

SealSong · 03/05/2018 21:23

I know. I'm in tears, nobody so frail at 99 years old should have to cope on their own. I know we don't know what his relationship is with his son, but it seems so wrong. I feel we let so many elderly people down in this country these days. Sad Heartbreaking.

SealSong · 03/05/2018 21:24

Although I do admire his independent spirit.

NakedMum33and3rd · 03/05/2018 21:24

I wish they didn't have to leave him. Poor Ernie.

SneakyGremlins · 03/05/2018 21:28

Blimey this tugs at your heart Sad

Toddlerteaplease · 03/05/2018 21:29

I think the NHS must have shares in Schleor!

TheSpottedZebra · 03/05/2018 21:30

Ernie said his son lives in London, so 100 ish miles away. And he's probably 70s himself. Maybe he just didn't want him worried and driving at night, at New Year .

SneakyGremlins · 03/05/2018 21:32

Now a stabbing???

SneakyGremlins · 03/05/2018 21:32

SOMEONE'S TONGUE GOT CUT IN HALF?

Toddlerteaplease · 03/05/2018 21:36

I once worked New Year's Eve and all the drunks sprawled on trollies in A&E absolutely made my blood boil.

TheAntiBoop · 03/05/2018 21:37

Last series they did an episode about Saturday nights and it was so depressing

SneakyGremlins · 03/05/2018 21:38

It fucks me off. I don't drink at all so maybe I don't have an understanding but I think alcohol related A+E visits should be charged.

LIZS · 03/05/2018 21:38

How can you be unaware you have dislocated your knee! Shock

OP posts:
TheAntiBoop · 03/05/2018 21:39

The problem is that the injured person isn't always the drunk

SneakyGremlins · 03/05/2018 21:39

I mean when the injured person is drunk! Or when they are only there because they've drunk too much.

Toddlerteaplease · 03/05/2018 21:40

Sneaky, I agree. Although how you would police it, I have no idea!
