Omg Gaynor is an MNetter. Hello Gaynor 😁.

Just watching this now. First of all makes me mega broody!!! Secondly I really like Billie and Gregg, seem really down to earth and I know others probably won't agree but I quite like big Paul and think he's just not up for the fame thing.

Anyone else watching?

Thank you IHaveBrilloHair, I used to have old original Mini Coopers before they got traded in for a family car. 😊

Mini Paul said in the very first series that he loved his Mum and when he got called a Mummy’s Boy at school then he took it as a compliment!!

Reading back, I do think Nelly is probably going to school, you're Scottish like me so the system is different, if we'd been in England Dd would have started school a few days after her 4th birthdayShock (28th August birthday)
She actually started a whole year later under the Scottish system.

IHaveBrilloHair yeah in Scotland you must turn 5 before 28th February next year to get in to primary 1 this August. Nelly just seems to toddlerish to me.

Arthur & Paul are far cuter than Nelly & Rosie, is that awful of me to say this out loud?

IHaveBrilloHair · 23/03/2018 18:25

Dd was so toddlerish at that age too, thank god we are in Scotland.
Ha, I think all the kids are cute, on TV of course, don't be bringing them anywhere near me, I stopped at one for a reasonGrin

I too only have one child! Smile One is quite enough in this day and age, also I’m such a worrier and I don’t think my mind could cope with worrying abt more than one, it’s okay when they are kid kids but teenagers? Shock omg the worries...

I thought the same so googled and she turns 4 in July .

So it’s like junior school then or nursery for pre school kids? I know England is different with lots of things but I still thought that 5 is the age down there to start school, I’m away to google it, be back soon x

It’s reception class that she will be going too, if your child is 4 before the September of the school year then they go to a pre school type thing, aka reception, proper school is age 5 like Scotland, I thought she was too young for school school.

That might certainly be one of the reasons Billie might be so stressed, she'll be quite young to start.

Scotschic · 23/03/2018 20:28

I think due to Nelly being Billie’s first child, then she has spoiled her and she’s paying the price for it now, hopefully she’ll know not to spoil Arthur.

Yeah I get the feeling they've realised that 😂

I think this too 🙊 Paul is without a doubt the second cutest little boy in the world (the first being my son of course Grin).

Deffo! I think Sam must’ve known that too hence why Paul is such a delight, baby Paul not the big yin Wink

@CherryChasingDotMuncher

I think the problem with Nelly and Rosie is that they look like their Dad’s, and little girls that look like their Dads aren’t always as cute as they would be if they had looked like their Mums x

I'm really curious to see if Big Paul (who shall henceforth be known as Twat Paul after the cheese on toast saga) and Gaynor dote on Rosie like they do Baybay Paul. Something tells me not Sad

I remember in the first series Gaynor was still crying at the sight of Paul when he was about 3 months old and calling him her best friend. She also once pulled Sam's top round her boob when she was breastfeeding the Baybay. I find her intensity extremely creepy. Makes me glad of my MIL who absolutely adores my kids but not to the point of crying!

I agree scots, I think I'm also unconsciously prejudiced against poor Nelly because she has such an awful name. I pretend that Billie and Greg call her Lily (as that's what they sound like when they say her name) 😂

Scotschic · 23/03/2018 22:01

The only name I like out of the kids names are Arthur, Paul is okay for big Paul, an 80s baby, but not a 2016 baby, and again the name Rosie is for older women, even Billie has a good name.

Regarding Gaynor; I think she thinks she’s helpful but it’s just controlling, I do think she’ll dote on Rosie as she is the first girl as Gaynor has 2 sons & 1 grandson, although I’m not sure if Tony, her other son, has any kids.

Also does anyone actually believe Paul is a property developer, yet couldn’t find a flat for himself and family?!

Report
CherryChasingDotMuncher · 23/03/2018 23:05

Just googled, apparently Big Paul is a property developer and estate agent. And he's 27! I thought he was about 37!

Report
Scotschic · 23/03/2018 23:37

But he couldn’t get his own family a house? Well google only writes from a source aka Paul and I still don’t believe it, I think he’s probably a cocaine dealer tbh.
