Omg Gaynor is an MNetter. Hello Gaynor 😁.

Just watching this now. First of all makes me mega broody!!! Secondly I really like Billie and Gregg, seem really down to earth and I know others probably won't agree but I quite like big Paul and think he's just not up for the fame thing.

Anyone else watching?

My guilty pleasure this show! How bloody adorable is baby Paul? Against my better judgment I quite like Sam and big Paul. I like the way they dress baby Paul.

Billie and gregg do my head in!

Looking forward to tonights Ep.

Ha that pic of 'Gaynor' is great.

Sam did look very overwhelmed when she had just given birth to Rosie but it was lovely to see.

I really quite like big Paul. I maybe feel a bit sorry for him as i think Gaynor has probably always been over bearing / protective trying to be polite.

I watch this on catchup.

I’ve really gone off Sam. She’s got far, far too big for her boots, she really thinks she’s some sort of mega star and she’s really not. She’s, also, not speaking to Ferne anymore which is quite nasty and judgmental imo. Billie is still mates with her.

Billie and Greg are so much nicer, far easier to relate to. I think they appreciate what they have and realise that it could all get taken away tomorrow.

I do think with the Ferne thing Sam has done it more to protect what she sees as her brand than anything else which is quite sad if they have been friends for a very long time.

What a tosser Paul was tonight letting the baby cling on to Adam as she was getting food out the oven. I do feel she puts up a wall to how she really feels, and tries to come across as a Happy Mummy

I've not watched tonights but I don't think I'll ever warm to Paul after the way he was in the 1st Baby Diaries. I prefer watching Billie as she doesn't try and sugar coat everything, we see the rows, when Nelly is throwing a tantrum. Sam makes out everything is hunky dory all the time.

That was so bizarre, Paul watching her struggle to get the bloody cheese on toast out of the oven while holding baby Paul on her back! I was terrified he was going to get burnt, just move away with him ffs!

And then flouncing out of the room saying it wasn't cooked!! I thought that was a rotten dynamic, it's as if Sam is just there to provide him with babies and domestic services and he doesn't really respect or care about her.

Billie and Greg have ruined Nelly already, she doesn't seem to do a single thing she is told and that bedtime performance is ridiculous.

I thought the best bits were with the parents and Sam's dad and the online dating, genuinely made me laugh.

I’m just catching up. Is their dad their stepdad? They have such a lovely relationship with him.

Few cringey moments so far- big Paul isn’t keen on letting Sam name the baby is he?!

i watch it for the cringe. i love the pain. gaynor (hey girl!) is terrifying if i hear she's gone on the run with baby pauli will not be surprised.

big paul. well. maybe there is more to him. but he comes across as a brainless lump in a matching tracksuit. it is not attractive. I'm assuming sam's got a crap dad and that's why she's got Dog awful taste in men/low standards. she's smart enough and successful she could be doing much better.

but i mainly watch so i can hide behind my hands when gaynor is warbling about baby paul. the nutter.

How do we know Gaynor is on MN? I must've missed that bit.

I honestly cant see what Sam sees in Paul.
He's not particularly attractive, or funny, or interesting and his Mum is bloody weird
Sam seems to think she's Victoria Beckham, and lumpen Paul just stands there looking vacant.

I do like Greg and Billie though, they come across as a normal couple, I was so with Greg on the bar closing far too early!

I've just watched this weeks, jeez Paul is a arsehole!!

Greg and Billie seem so normal, much more relatable.

All of the children are gorgeous, and seem very loved

Big Paul the property developer that couldn’t get a house for his own family?! I don’t believe that for a minute! I don’t really see what the big thing is about him not wanting to get married, IMO kids and a house are commitment enough and marriage is old fashioned these days, especially for a young couple as Sam & Paul are, it’s nice for a family to all have the same surname but marriage doesn’t have to take place for that, I don’t believe in marriage in all honesty and Sam probably just wants to be married to look even more ‘perfect’!

I agree with most on here that Billie & Greg are way more down to earth than Sam & Paul and way more realistic, I can see Sam & Paul getting pushed out as Billie & Greg will take over in the fame game. Billie & Greg are also quite funny whereas with S & P I’m laughing at them, not with them!

I quite like that Paul & Greg just laugh and act like boys, nice to see Paul with a friend!

How can Nelly be going to school?! She seems like too much of a toddler to be going to school, or does Billie mean nursery when she says school?

Arthur is bloody so cute and I just want to squeeze his wee cheeks and give him a kiss.

Sam still acts like the only woman to have had a child and it does my head in!

Also do any of you think that Sam copies Billie? Billie gave birth to Nelly and then not so long afterwards Sam met Paul and was dying to have a baby and she wasn’t with Paul for very long before she got pregnant, and then Billie had another baby & a few months later so did Sam, Billie and Greg are both on board with 1 another about getting married and now Sam keeps harping on at Paul about marriage!

I think as close as Sam & Billie are, then there’s deffo some sibling rivalry from Sam’s side and this will deepen because without B+G, then The Mummy Diaries wasn’t going to be commissioned for another series, now if only Sam would copy Billies down to earth personality...

I cringed last night when Gregg asked big Paul when he's thinking of proposing.

It seems like he might but has been advised by Sam he has to wait until it is the perfect photo op. I found that so so sad and tbh probably more truthful than the inane grinning Sam on talking heads saying she is desperate to get married (as long as she is slim and tanned and the photos and I'm sure magazine offer is right. Has to be perfect!).

I think one of the worst things to do is push someone into marriage when it’s clear that they’re not ready, a lot of people seem to think that having a child entitles people to push their partners into marriage but I disagree, and especially in this day and age, they have kids together and surely kids are a bigger commitment than marriage? I just don’t see what the problem is, Sam let him propose when he’s good and ready and if he isn’t ever ready then she should have thought about that, or at least spoke to him about it, before she had 2 bloody kids to him!!

Scotschic · 23/03/2018 07:54

I reckon that Greg asking Paul abt marriage was either scripted in or Sam asked, sorry told him, to do it, her whole family is at Paul abt marriage and I don’t think it’s fair.Sad

Also I think Sam wants to get married for all the wrong reasons...

The look Paul shot Sam before he walked out over the toast was a bit chilling. He didn't like her standing up for herself. It could have all been cooked just fine if he'd walked away with little (I refuse to call him Baby) Paul and let her finish it.

Report
DBoo · 23/03/2018 11:06

I think he was trying to help but obviously dangling baby Paul on her back was just making it worse.

I thought he was pathetic walking out afterwards but Sam did give him daggers (rightfully so) and I bet they are always aware of the cameras so he probably left so they didn't argue. I thought both masks slipped a bit then.

Having said that Sam said she was envious of Gregg helping our more round the house so I hope that spurs her on to get big Paul more involved. Whether he's receptive or not I have no idea but from what we see of him it doesn't look great.

I think it's interesting that Sam is determined to show a perfect family whereas Billie is more relaxed and happy to show her and Greg bickering, issues with Nellie etc.

Could it be as simple as Billie appears to be closer to her mam whereas Sam seems to be leaning more towards Gaynor.

Do you think so? I always feel a bit that Sam is intimidated by Gaynor. Moving away from both families was such an odd thing for them to do .. it felt very led by Big Paul to me. Gaynor adores Big Paul but I never get quite the same feeling back.

Report
DBoo · 23/03/2018 13:52

Yeah you're probably right I just always think that things are on Gaynor's say so even though her mam and sister openly disapprove of a lot of the decisions Sam makes.
