I just googled annulment. Harriet and Richard clearly didn't have sex therefore they could get an annulment instead of a divorce.

In the US version they put together a couple one who had a dog and one who clearly had quite a phobia of dogs. What a load of crap saying it they were matched, clearly only going for the ratings.

I think she probably found Dick attractive initially hence the kisses on the wedding day. But chemistry is about more than looks.

And also don't forget on the wedding day richard was suited and booted which was probably a look she was attracted to but after that he went round in not very flattering skinny jeans and jumpers

I know he's a police sergeant and they don't tend to wear suits off duty. I was a bit disappointed that he wore the same outfit to the theatre though! Jeans and a smarter jacket maybe?

I know chemistry os more than looks but it seemed like she didn't bother even to talk to him. I do think though that most of the filming of them at home was on 1 or 2 days. her clothes were the same too. Do you think maybe they wouldn't allow cameras to film so often, being more private people perhaps. It's a shame because if so it made her look like she was ignoring him.

Has anyone else tried to stalk them all on instagram and can't find them..no? just me blush I need to know what is going on and what they are doing now haha!

I think I found Stephanie’s but it’s private and there’s no point adding because I doubt she’ll accept.

In the article it sounds like he did the dumping. He really took her for a ride I hope she finds somone a million times better for her than him

I'm not surprised. I think the programme makers and matchers have to ask themselves serious questions about the ethics of matching someone just out of a long term relationship. No way was he ready.

I think as a social experiment it hasnt work.
None of the couples have stayed together despite the programme makers saying scientifically the couples were so compatible.

I think a career in reality media has been his plan all along (Ben). He's awful.

Even his interview is full of shit. It's so patronising about her being really disappointed, and so self-aggrandising about his nobility in making the right decision. Based on what we saw on screen, I can only assume he twatted her around some more before dumping her for being 'difficult'.

So all the marriages in all three series of this have failed. Yet at the end of the last series they were asking people if they wanted to take part in the next series.

What is the point? The experts are either totally useless or they have proved that there is no science as to why two people fall in love and, more importantly, stay together.

I know people chose to take part but I feel it really messes up their lives. They are all young and yet have to face the fact that they are divorced after a very short marriage. I wonder how many of their family and friends thought it was a good idea in the first place? Not many if any I bet.

Steph did come across as needy and insecure. Her reactions were very up there - either glowing with happiness or screaming in frustration. So why in the world did they pair with a jerkwad who was only going to play to the worst of her susceptibilities?

Someone like Richard would have been far more reassuring to her - he was calm, steady, and proactive about stable romance. She was warm and would have made more of an effort than Harriet did to break Richard's reserve.

Shame that none of the couple's worked out. I'm not sure why people would apply for the new series when it doesn't have a good success rate. Anyone could pluck 2 stranger's out of a room for them to marry with the same outcome as all the scientists!

Just read the piece in the mail. He's already entered z lister territory by being with Lizzie Cundy and Zissman. Zissman said something really horrible about poor Stephanie. I wonder if Stephanie regrets doing the show.

Wow so apparently Steph had no idea about the divorce until he announced it on the radio show.
