Yes my DH often takes his ring off. So do I actually - I can't wear jewellery at work.

I don't think Ben took his ring off because it was too big or he was going cycling though. It seems more likely that he was making a statement as things had been a bit strained just prior.

If it was only due to cycling/too big etc then he seems communicative and direct enough to say "This ring is a bit big/bit uncomfortable, I'm going to have to leave it off for today" then I doubt Steph would have had a problem.

Dh and I never wear our rings. But I think that in this case when they have chosen to go on a programme about making a marriage work, it is quite symbolic not to be wearing it.

Have just caught up on this. Ben got in a mood after the trip to his home town because Stephanie was getting on better with his friends and family than he does, and making them laugh, in my opinion. He has to be the centre of attention. That is when he went a bit weird towards her. He is very self-centred.

I'm actually so excited to see the last episode and their decisions. Hope at least one couple stick together.

Last episode? Is that this week? Disappointed it doesn't carry on. Do they do a follow up? This is the first series I have watched.

MsHarry they always do a six months on from deciding whether they to be together or not (think it’s 6).

Last years was better. They had 4 couples on that one too.

So is this week the last one? Feels like it's just started.

I could have shaken harriet when she made the comment about marriage being work, dinner, watch tv, bed. I was thinking thats real life though!
But i guess thats as they skipped the dating bit and went straight to the boring but lovely bit.

I think the police thing, i have a friend who works for press at the police and they get so many requests from tv shows so i would guess thats why.

ben reminds me of an old boss of mine, there were so may rumours about us as we should on paper have been an ideal match. But i would have wanted to kill him!!!! Just too irritating, heart in the right place though.

Cake - I'm sure they sign a prenup otherwise it might attract people for financial reasons which isn't the point of the programme. They are also (presumably) thoroughly vetted to rule out wrongun's.

I think Harriet has elevated expectations of living together from her comments. She said she'd never lived with a partner before and she's in her 30's. Nothing wrong with that but possibly it has built "living together" up into something it's not, for most of the time.

I can't believe Richard has not been snapped up already! And Steph, for that matter. I think she seems really nice.

I just watched series 1 , the wedding days. Held so much hope for Jason and Kate though thought she was out of his league. Can’t believe he was on tinder within 2 was!!

Ben - twat. Bit thick.
Steph - nice. Too good for Ben.
Dick - very good looking but very very dull.
Harriet - horrible woman.

TBF I don't think Harriet is actually horrible. I think she realises she has made a terrible, terrible mistake and has got caught up in a very public car crash of a situation. She is totally mortified, wants to get out of it without hurting Dick's feelings (probably not possible ) and has withdrawn into herself to the point of disassociation. It's painful to watch.

I've just started watching Australia season 1. I love Zoe and Alex.

The Aussie season 1 is brilliant!

Aussie series 1 is ace, it's worth googling them to see what they're up to now when you finish the series.

Here we go! I reckon both couples will say that that they'll stay married, but the text update at the end will say they've since split.
