Neither Ben or Harriet are trying. What on earth did they think that they were getting into! Harriet, in particular, doesn't deserve the effort. At least Ben tried for the first week, I guess! I wouldn't want him for a husband. I don't fancy Richard at all, but he has good qualities, he's bloody patient, for a start!
