It's great spotting people who appeared in later shows. Marg Helgenberger & Wallace Langham (Catherine Willows & Hodges) both from CSI this week.

Ontheboardwalk · 19/04/2018 22:51

Ah seeing Reg E. Cathey made me sad and glad

Lweji · 20/04/2018 03:08

Anyone else worried for Dr Romano every time they had a patient brought by helicopter?

SubtitlesOn · 20/04/2018 08:01

We went to film studios in LA about 10 years ago and they have still got the ambulance bay area, L train and track, and foyer to ER with chairs, desk and sweet machine all set up to be seen on the tour, you can walk around

And you can still see the black marks down the walls of the ambulance bay from the helicopter crash

I was so excited even though my DH and DS didn't have a clue what I was talking about

I will try to find photos

Series 3stwrt

JaneR0chester · 20/04/2018 16:05

Fat fingers... Series 3 started this afternoon - surprised to see Foreman from House Grin

KinkyAfro · 20/04/2018 16:16

Poor Doctor Foreman/Gant

dingdongdigeridoo · 20/04/2018 16:31

I like to think that Dr Gant faked his death to make Benton feel bad, then changed his identity, moving to New Jersey and working for an even bigger jerk.

I love the helicopter scenes. I know they’re supposed to be horrific, but I couldn’t stop laughing when that helicopter just fell out of the sky!

Lweji · 20/04/2018 16:42

And Jorja Fox, who later went to Las Vegas.

AnnaT45 · 20/04/2018 19:28

ding 🤣

Another who shed a tear when John carter made it to MD

Aridane · 20/04/2018 21:17

Yes -Foreman from House!

duggiehug · 21/04/2018 00:36

Poor Jeannie. What an asshat her husband was.

iklboo · 22/04/2018 09:33

Al was a tool. 'Hey baby I shagged around all through our marriage, caught & infected you with HIV. Here's my medical bill - be a good girl & pay it for me'.

Xmasbaby11 · 22/04/2018 20:04

How many episodes are on a week? Is it 4? I'm worried I'm missing some!

Aridane · 22/04/2018 20:28

I think it’s every night

iklboo · 22/04/2018 20:28

It's on Mon-Fri and there's an 'omnibus' on a Sunday.

Xmasbaby11 · 22/04/2018 21:40

Amazing, Thanks! It's going to be a busy few months!

Teenytinyvoice · 23/04/2018 20:59

My box didn’t tape this weeks omnibus 😟
Which episodes did I miss so I can look at the précis on line?

Aridane · 24/04/2018 07:21

I really don’t like Carol Hathaway much - yet beck in the day I’m pretty sure she was my favourite character.

Now find Dr Ross a sleaze Esther than a heart throb.

And the ignorance on HIV. Benton is pretty vile to Jeannie,

TammySwansonTwo · 24/04/2018 07:36

Wish I’d seen this earlier - where are they up to?

I never got to the end, but those early seasons were amazing... although the most upsetting arc for me was the one with Abby’s birth. Not sure I could sit through that again now I have kids!

Aridane · 24/04/2018 10:24

Susan has had to relinquish custody of niece back to sister.

Carter has qualified.

Jeannie has a recent HIV diagnosis and Benton is being horrible to her.

Nurse Hathaway cannot sell her house.

AnnaT45 · 24/04/2018 11:41

Benton is so unsympathetic, she's only just found out and he's being vile. I used to hate Kerry but re watching you realise she's actually very caring. I think Jeannie is a bit blah but the way they do the storyline is very good and you feel so sorry for her.

Ross is a douche and I love Lydia and Halle.

I think what it highlights for me is how grateful we should be for the nhs. The Dad who had lung cancer but had to go back to work broke my heart.

Aridane · 24/04/2018 12:10

Yes - interesting how Kerry is the compassionate one to Jeannie (with Benton being awful).

In terms of highlighting how grateful we should be for the NHS, has anyone been watching The Resident? That's a recent medical drama (in series 1) where you seem them dealing with insurance, turning away patients, billing for tests etc. Hospital being driven by revenue and doctors doing what they can but very much within that profit-driven environment

TammySwansonTwo · 24/04/2018 16:00

Indeed. If Breaking Bad were set in the U.K., there wouldn’t have been much of a plot, would there?
