After finishing the sublime Weeds on Netflix I finally succumbed to trying PB.

Total crap. What are all you folk who love it thinking ? Dodgy sets, dodgy score, dodgy accents, dodgy acting.

The first series was good but the latest ones are DIRE. That man who plays the Italian gangster is a cross between a Marlon Brando impersonator and Papa Lazarou from League of Gentlemen. And Tom Hardy is much better is Taboo- that is a fact!

Grace was awful. He should have gone with the horsey woman.

It's become a parody of itself.

I keep hearing all the hype but never got round to it. We watched Boardwalk Empire all the way through. No one very pretty in it, but the plot was good, it was interesting to see the historical links and Steve Buscemi and Stephen Graham shone. Often wonder if pb is as good.

Cillian Murphy is rather pretty.

However, i watched the first 2 episodes to give it a go but it's crap! I can't bare the sheer amount of smoking going on, yuck.

DS has just binge watched PB and keeps telling me to watch it. I don't think so after reading this.

Stick with it. I only appreciated how good season 1 was, when I was quite far into season 2.
