I couldn’t believe this episode.. why is HH not onto him?

What's going on with the lumbar puncture needle and the number in the plastic box that HH had?
I think this was more horrifying than any other soap event in history, it was just so dark. Very well written episode but stretched the imagination.

Some of the episode was a bit stupid. The Meena-Duvet answerphone message nonsense. Why wouldn't she just have given it to the police if she didn't want to tell HH? And I really wanted to slap Essie with her smug suddenly-knows-everything-about-brain-surgery face and her tutting at HH and saying snottily, 'Henrik, pleeeeeease' like he was a toddler who had wandered in.

Poor Roxanna though. Hope scans pick it up and it can be reversed (by next week).

Just caught up. Didn't understand why that ligature was there in the first place? Was the second surgery always planned? Did he leave it in first time on purpose to make it look like he was removing it second time? Sorry if this has been answered down thread

I think it's from last week Roz ran the tests on Lazio. Where she proved he had never had Motor neuron disease. So all Gaskill's research was built on a faulty assumption.

Gas kill locked her in in the second surgery. After he spoke to Duvall.

NHS research is, in reality, much more regulated than that, in order to protect the patient. Clinical trials especially are highly robust and involve numerous stages.

For the same reason we call Gaskell GasKill and We used to call Issac Arsacc. Annoying / Evil characters get nicknames. Potentially favourite ones too but there's only HH who gets one out of the favourites

She could also be MEmemeena the way she makes everything about herself.

this whole gaskil HH meena raxanne storyline has been so clumsy (even for Holby). Paul mcGann so wooden. HH so out of character. Roxanne so thick. Meena soooo moany. Jeez. All that flashback stuff so clumsy. Really shit storyline.

I want to know if Meena's character is a moaner, or if that is how the actress is in real life, and just can't act.
Dominic is equally annoying, and unprofessional.
I thought the Sascha storyline was good.
