Young Roxanna was spot on. Powerful episode.

Roxana left the voicemail for Meena. She’d asked M for help getting into the lab and with finding out what Gaskill was up to.

Thanks, Soup and MissSue for putting me right about the voicemail - it does make sense that it was on Meena's phone now you've explained it!

Still don't understand how that car could have done that much damage. It wasn't exactly racing along

I watched the episode but was a bit distracted, can someone tell me what the going back in time was about? Her mum was 'locked in' and has Gaskell done something in the surgery to lock her in too?

what did he do to make her "locked in" surgery wise

can it be reversed??

The going back in time was to explain the start of their relationship and also to show that Gas-Kill stole Roxanna's research.

He deliberately left a tied up bit in her brain which he should have removed in the second operation.

It was very chilling, I hope Gas-Kill gets his comeuppance soon, I'm not sure I can bare to watch much more.

I thought the voicemail was on HH’s phone at the start but it does make sense that it was Meena’s as they were talking about it earlier although Meena didn’t want to get involved as she thought it might ruin her career.

Surely that tie will show up on a scan? He can’t possibly get away with this and I would hope they finish it up quickly.

That was absolutely horrible. Gaskill is pure, arrogant evil. I suspect it will be reversed eventually when someone finds and cuts the ligature (although in real life I'd have thought it wouldn't be reversible) but that is absolutely the stuff of my worst nightmares.

The actor playing young Roxanna was extremely good though - she looked so much like her and her facial expressions were spot on.

That was actually terrifying.

How come he could just take her back into theatre - was he using someone else's scan to suggest the extra op was needed? And how come he could keep fucking off out of theatre?

Hurry back Guy, all is forgiven. (can't imagine it's reversible but please in Holby world - Roxanna is one of the characters I like at the moment).

I do think when HH figures it all out, it's going to be EPIC.

I guess HH will be thinking he needs to call in a top neuro surgeon for a second opinion on Roxanna's condition and Guy Self just happens to be available.

I found it so disturbing I struggled to get to sleep last night. Hope they wrap this story up quickly.

That was seriously disturbing. I thought HH would be less believing of John but he seemed to listen to him.

I too hope this doesn’t drag on too long. It properly was disturbing.

I had that sickening sense of dread when they flashed back to her showing him the book and the "locked in"...you just knew what was coming.

It has to be resolved, presumably Meena will say something to HH, another scan will be done etc.

It'll be reversed next week and she'll be back at work the week after

Oh dear, I actually felt quite panicky at the end when Roxanna couldn't communicate with HH. Stuff of nightmares, like being buried alive.

I think HH is deliberately slow, he would have stayed longer knowing R was locked in.
Meena is the world's fakest actress.
