She did sleep with Phil but she was best friends with Lisa. Also Phil was involved in her husband’s (Steve’s) death. I think she went off with Lisa and Louise to Portugal.

I'm glad karen has finally got a job, if only in hope it marks the end of the poor family storylines EE has churned out since the Taylors arrived on the scene.

Ian told mel Lucy was dying so she would marry him. They went to Cornwall to see the eclipse once. Mel divorced Ian and married Steve Owen ( a gangster) and he was blown up in a car crash. She ran off with Phil’s money too. She was bad news.

More sexual innuendos with Karen's references to her son's 'handy' stains....

Loved the fact that when ben had that parcel delivered he was obviously struggling to lift it/carry it into the Arches yet it was delivered by a young female with no delivery van in sight or method to help her transport the package! She must by super strong!

I also think someone has taken off with the money and re-wrapped something else to make Ben think the money is still there.

Is the persons who has been watching him supposed to be the same person who broke in to the Arches?

I'm really, really disappointed with what the writers have done to Mas. I used to think he was a great character and had a proper place in the show whereas now they just seem to be making a mockery of him and every scene with him in it is just boring.

Also confused as to why Ben gave his mom some stolen jewellery. Why would he implicate her in it all? It doesn't make sense.

And why is he planning on leaving the Square? Why just up and go without saying anything to anyone?

I also thought Mel looked awful.

Lineys Karen's oldest child is a daughter, Chantelle. They've referred to her once or twice. She has her own council flat somewhere.

No doubt after not even bothering to see her family at Christmas, she'll turn up in some kind of peril and within a week will have moved to the Square.

Why would anyone conduct dodgy dealings with a fence in a caff on his own doorstep? Did he look him up in Yellow Pages? Anyone could have come in and seen the jewellery. And why keep the cash in the Arches anyway? It's the first place the police will look, if they get a search warrant, and only a flimsy padlock on the door. Not even a Yale lock.

The whole Mas thing is embarrassing. Incredibly laboured comedy routines more suitable for CBeebies.

The guy in the caff handed over £10k without taking a proper look at the jewellery and he just happened to have the exact amount he was prepared to pay in the envelope.

Nothing makes sense. Starting to irritate me slightly now.
So they’re all there coffin dug up and opened, another coffin containing dead body in the hearse and only one proper official funeral director there, in the middle of the night and suddenly the police appear...?! Doesn’t make any sense, surely the lot of them would’ve been arrested, I’m no expert but I assume digging up bodies is a fairly serious crime?!

And why did Ben move the suitcase to the archers? Surely safer back at the house hidden in either his or Abbie’s room...how doesn’t he plan to leave the country, he’d be stopped going through customs with all that!

Is LUKE still being held somewhere? Are we to assume WB is dead now? Is Dot Ill in real life? Seems strange she not been in in for months, where did she go, visiting someone wasn’t it?

So many unanswered storylines Confused
