9-1am! Before they were famous followed by a doc called Fake tan, tangos and a ten from Len followed by Craig lipsynching against Danny Dyer.

It's bad. So so bad. What the hell were Gethin and Kimbot thinking presenting this bollocks? Craig looked good when young, mind.

I really don't mind who wins tomorrow, I think all of them are deserving in different ways. Although there might be tears from dd if gemma doesn't win.

I liked Jay's showdance. Mainly I liked it because he and Aliona, I think, just got thoroughly fed up with all the criticism he got for not showing emotion and this and that, and just decided that they were going to do the final absolutely their way. The song - "I Can't Feel My Face" - always seemed to be a deliberate two fingers up to the judges.

And I do think that, compared to Kevin and Kellie's dance which was fast and frenetic and had everything except the kitchen sink thrown at it, Jay and Aliona's had a certain level of "cool" about it.

Speaking of past winners, did miners generally wanted Danny or Ore to win last year? I didn’t mind either but I was surprised that Ore won as I thought the public preferred Danny. I think his mistake in the quick step must have cost him on the night.

I thought Jay's showdance was cool and impeccably danced, but it was just such a cop out on Aliona's part- it's one thing being inspired by bits and pieces of previous dances, but she literally did not choreograph a single new step except that weird bum slap bit. I think if I'd not seen all the moves before and wasn't thinking 'oh that's their Rumba, and there's their Tango, and look their Charleston' the entire time rather than just watching it as a whole dance I would've loved it. The music was a fun choice though :D

Alex and her PR team have been clever, turning her lack of popularity into a racism agenda and bringing out loads of social media influencers in the last couple of weeks to get her a sympathy bump. I wouldn't be at all surprised if she won it as a result, which in my view would be an awful result for the show

On the previous thread there was a poster who seemed to be touting an agenda, then a few days later there was an article in one of the newspapers that seemed extremely familiar in more ways than one.

Have her PR team been at work? Yes, for sure. Will it help her with votes? Probably. Though I suspect there will be many people like myself who'll give their votes to anyone but her because of these antics.

Joe-Varney improves my opinion of him on with Sara Cox this week, he was funny and obviously had a good relationship with Debbeh. Sara asked Debbeh if she was 59

As for Jay not showing emotion everyone at the time thought he and Aliona were totally in love and he was besotted with her. Picked DD up from after school club the other day and about 10-12 DC aged 8ish-11 were gathered round, rapt watching Jay and Aliona’s Pulp Fiction dance.

Danny was robbed. I was gutted that he didn't win. He was such a beautiful dancer. I find all the crying a real turn-off - and not because Ore is male, I find it just as much of a turn-off this year with Alexandra. Also, Joanne Clifton was one of my least favourite pros, and I was so glad that she only did a couple of years.

Danny was in a league of his own and I thought people generally preferred him over Ore. I felt a little bereft for him when he dioxin but wondered whether it was his messed QS that cost him.

I don’t think it was, actually. I feel that Danny was so good from so early in the show that people found it hard to get over. He was also quite reserved. And in contrast, there was Ore, heart on his sleeve, and we were reminded over and over again every week that he had never danced before - honesly, it put Debbie being 59 right into the shade in comparison - and Joanne was clever with a couple of crowd-pleasers that she pulled out for the final (the one on the drums and - the Gene Kelly Widow one? - I can’t remember). So she pulled in the popular vote and they won, and I console myself by watching Danny and Oti on YouTube muttering “They wuz robbed”

Last year I really wanted Danny to win and was fairly disappointed that Ore did (understatement).

This year, I'd like Joe to win but genuinely don't mind who wins. They are all lovely and have all had 'wow' moments.

Part of my love for Joe is Katya.

I've just realised that I probably didn't want Ore to win because of Joanne.

Dannywuzrobbed has definitely taken over from Austinwuzrobbed, that's for sure .

I'm rooting for Joe. I said on the very first thread that I've loved him for years, and I've really enjoyed watching him dance. The Cabaret samba was just brilliant.

Yes, there isn’t really a dance this series that is anywhere near the same standard as any of Danny’s, I feel. Their samba will remain as the definitive samba for me, which may be why I was disappointed with the samba attempts of this series. I like Joe’s cabaret dance as a dance but not as a samba iyswim.

I've said it before and I'll keep on saying it but Danny's Misty Blue AS is probably my favourite dance ever - absolutely stunning 😍 he was well and truly robbed by the crying Ore 😟 although I accept that his mistake possibly didn't help his chances!

To be fair if Strictly bingo goes well for me tonight I might not actually have a clue who wins later!

Isn’t that really not true?! He came across like a totally confused and love-sick puppy-especially when the final winner was announced.

Maybe it was the showdance that did it for Danny and Oti? Apparently it was incredible in the studio but the people I was watching with had been voting for them but found the whole mirror thing weird. Then Ore and Joanne did a traditional Fred & Ginger number. I rewatch their Misty Blue dance all the time, it was just stunning.
