It's a bit ironic. There's DD doing his best James Dean/Marlon Brando, Method, naturalistic acting, and he stands out from the rest of the cast for being UN-natural. He can't even walk to the bathroom without a swagger.

Max looks like the grim reaper in his black hoodie. All he needs is a scythe to complete the look.

I laughed out loud at the end when he grabbed Ian round the throat with the fairylights. It was brilliant. We need more stuff like this.

The trouble with Danny Dyer's facial expression (singular) is that he furrows his brow as a default 'acting' device and it squashes his eyes and makes him look quite odd. Then he hangs his mouth open and he looks ridiculous.

I though Max's acting was brilliant but I just couldn't take Ian seriously.

My guess is that Lauren is also going to whack Max over the head with a frying pan to try and stop him in his evil tracks....

I was impressed by Lauren's quick thinking when she shut the kitchen door so Louis couldn't see one grandad trying to murder the other one. She's usually rather slow on the uptake, too.

I wondered why Lauren bothered to shut the door behind her. Makes sense now. A bit gruesome for early evening TV but quite exciting never the less. Its certainly getting a lot more watchable these days. Although Mick is still a moron. Who would trust hi with a gun anyway.
