I thought all the earlier comments about Joe’s Holby character dying in a lift were either dancing puns, or a joke about Dr Drake Ramoray. But I’ve just been chatting to my Holby-mad MIL who told me it’s true! He really did die in a lift like Joey!!

I would love Debbie to win but I won't mind if Joe or Alex take it.
I have a soft spot for Debbie because of Paul and would love her to end the year on a high note.
She also responded to some recent twitter abuse with such class and dignity, I was in awe.
Joe was fine week 1 but I still cannot forgive that tango in week 2. He's very smiley though.
And I admire Alex a great deal and have rewatched quite a few of her routines.
So for me - Debs, Alex, Joe, Gemma
Re pros - Katya, Gio, Aljaz, Gorka
On scoring average - Alex, Debbie, Joe, Gemma
Popularity though, Joe might have it (but I thought that about Louise)
And although it won't happen, I would have loved to have seen all of their Pasos again: it was the one dance they all excelled in.
It's pretty even for me in terms of favourite routines
Alex: Paso, jive, AT
Debs: Paso, AT, tango
Joe: VW, samba
Gem: Paso, AS
Their worst dances for me were
Alex: rumba
Debs: samba
Joe: tango
Gem: salsa
Which means I am more amenable to an Alex or Debbie win. I declare then that the best Show dance should take it

I find neither sources nor tabloids credible but allegedly Karen is spending Xmas with her family, Kevin with his. The accountant has been dumped and is moving to the States. The Cliftons begin touring in January.

They've opened a dance studio together too, their marriage is intertwined with the business which makes it all very messy. Didn't flavia and Vincent still dance together after splitting up?

Flavia and Vincent stayed together professionally.

I loved Katyas choreography. She has managed the totally crap music for that dance where others would crash and burn.
I like Joe because he seems genuinely excited about it all. Same for Gemma.
Alex is too earnest ( like Ore!) and Debbie got a boost from me at the daily mail bashing but too experienced for me to want her to win. Happy she’s in the final though.

Yes - I'm not convinced he knew who he was going to choose before he said their name. All the stuff he said could have applied to Gemma or Mollie I think.

I thought he just momentarily was uncertain about Gemma's name! If you watch it back, he starts making the g shape with his mouth and teeth, then falters, looks a bit addled then says it again. I think he just wanted to make sure he didn't say the wrong name by accident!

I'm not too fussed about the dance experience they have as long as they're honest about it. They rarely have ballroom/Latin experience.

I can't work out how much Joe has had as that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang clip is from the old film and I've seen a clip from a stage version that doesn't have Caractacus as a good dancer buts more of a "comedy" lead. I can't work out why they'd outright lie about experience when information is all so eadoly available on the internet.

He just had a lot of waffle before saying her name which made me think he hadn't quite decided. Usually it's more like "for a more assured performance, Gemma".

I don't mind any of the final four winning. I think it will come down to which is the most crowd pleasing show dance.

Gemma and Mollie’s dances scored equally, but Mollie didn’t make a mistake in her dance off. I didn’t think Gemma improved her tango really. I wondered if Craig felt that Mollie might have done the dance off better but that Gemma deserved to be in the final more?

I would like Debbie to win but think Joe will. Gemma just isn’t wowing me with her dancing and I know we all have to be lovely about Alexandra now but I can’t warm to her manner.

I knew the result before watching, so wasn't surprised that Gemma was saved. But if I hadn't known, I would have thought Mollie would go through based on the DO. I don't think she's finals material by any stretch, and it was good she was eliminated, but on that DO performance alone she was better than Gemma.

Given that they saved Mollie over Aston on "that one dance alone" then I sincerely hope they didn't pick Gemma based on the whole series. Because that would be massively unfair.

Still upset that we'll never get to see an Aston/Janette or Davood/Nadiyah show dance!

I want Alex or Gemma to win. And I would love to see footage of Gemma dancing without any cameras on her (that she knows of!!)... I think her nerves and self-consciousness get in the way of the free abandon she needs in order to "wow" in the Latin dances.

I’m no Cliftons fan but that is just bollocks. Moving to the states is SO fucking hard, you can’t just get dumped and decide you’re off.
Also there is no way, however callous anyone thinks Karen may be, that she was out walking with her luuuuuurver wearing her wedding ring and with another woman. The whole thing is just tabloid bollocks, irrespective of what’s going on in the Cliftons marriage

See I am sure I have read/heard somewhere that the judges have to put their decision into a computer on their desk as soon as the dance off ends and before they are asked so that they cannot change their mind. They have to do the same for their scores aswell I believe. This way they cannot be influenced by the other judges.

I might be wrong but I definitely have heard this somewhere.

He is the main reason I can't stand watching her ! Unfair on her, of course, but she did not make him look any better.

Right decision this week. Mollie had reached her limit. I thought it was very classy of her to immediately congratulate Gemma and Aljaz.

I think Alex will be booted out first in the final, and Joe will win. There seems to have been a real buzz around him over the last few weeks.

I’d love to see Joe win, unfortunately the judges will over score Alex with 40 then give Debbie 39 and Joe won’t stand a chance no matter how much the public vote for him or against the girls.

Because she is still grieving her husband of 28 years. Paul himself, no idea what he was like personally - saw him on TV as a child then on Louis Theroux and he was on wife swap iirc but cannot remember it bar him being a bit of a grumpy old man. Mollie's speech was very classy, reminded me of Letitia Dean.

The judges scores are guidance only though Priscilla the winner is public vote only, so their over scoring will have little bearing. Jay beat Kellie because he was most popular despite her scoring higher on the night.

I thought Alexandra was gigglier than usual and I really liked that side of her.
