iknow DH reminded me that ickle Ben clobbered one of his friends with a spanner at the arches once, the poor boy fell In the car pit.
No time to grab a spanner, Luke must've taken Ben by surprise with what must be his trade mark move. His prison name was probably Full Throttle Posh Boy or similar.

I think Linda didn't have any sense of embarrassment last night judging by what she was wearing. Her clothes are getting worse. I've never seen an outfit with shiny coloured discs on before.

I like the way Luke is turning on everyone, it's better than watching him simpering over Ben. Not convinced by that relationship at all.

The look on Karen's face when Linda gave her the collection and it was explained that she didn't need to give it back... clearly no one has ever been nice or given anything to her before.

I liked that Karen and Mrs spam also talked about people from the old flats. Showed the history between them (even if they didn’t much like each other!). Better than them suddenly becoming best friends!

Why did they say the loan sharks turned the electricity off? Thought only electricity company could do that. Can anyone enlighten me?

I was confused about the electric too Mrs Whiplington - since Mr and Mrs Spam said theirs was off too

I missed that can only think they cut the cable or something, so if you did call out your supplier then they would charge you ££££ to fix given it would be deliberate.

Thanks Akire, that makes sense. Although if she had to pay to get electricity put back on she wouldn't have the money to pay the loan sharks. Thank goodness for Mrs Spam and Shirley.

mrswhiplington I agree with you about that bizarre thing that Linda was wearing - to me it looked like one of those little cape things that the hairdresser puts on you adorned with mega-sequins (i.e. in addition to the top she was wearing, not part of it). Either way, it wasn't a fashion I'm rushing to follow!

I’d live to know where they actually buy Linda’s clothes

Somewhere there is actually a shop selling those clothes as if they are fit to be worn in real life
