Carmel is very nice to Max, he is a cad for treating her so horribly. And she never says a word to him about blowing hot and cold, just cooks for him whenever he shows up. And how is Fee suddenly being a bit jealous of Carmel (or is it Karmel?) as a result of an overheard conversation in the pub after sending him off to sleep with her. Hardly adds up.
