I thought Tom’s wife was dead and Michelle reminded him of his late wife?

I’m guessing the father of Bernadette’s baby wasn’t Tom’s son after all.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 20/10/2017 08:47

There's a Hope in Coronation Street already who was a premature baby. Maybe Faith? Although that would have been perfect for Hev if she'd had a girl.

Intomyarms · 20/10/2017 09:04

It’s a nice name. The first time I heard it was in a programmer called Thirty Something many years ago. Showing my age :-)

dingdongdigeridoo · 20/10/2017 09:29

There was a Hope in Neighbours too. Todd died before his child was born so they called her Hope. Cheese.

The80sweregreat · 20/10/2017 09:42

Stacey saying that Max was a ' good man' ! errr, i dont think that good really applies to him somehow, things he has done.

Tom said his wife was dead, but we now know he is a stalker and a bit unhinged, so she may well be alive and tied up in the garage or something. I used to know a Faith, thats a pretty name - but not a Hope or a Charity..

RJnomore1 · 20/10/2017 09:55

Just watching last nights.

Keanu is lovely. I think I'm developing a wee crush.

Does anyone know how pregnant Stacey actually was?

NoCryLilSoftSoft · 20/10/2017 10:03

Keanu is lovely. I think I'm developing a wee crush.

Me too. Do we know what age he is?

Stacey was 32 weeks.

RJnomore1 · 20/10/2017 10:22

I've just looked it up and the actor is 24.

Blush

32 weeker should be fine long term, I had one of them 13 years ago and even then the outlook was overwhelmingly positive. Not a guarantee obviously.

NoCryLilSoftSoft · 20/10/2017 10:25

Oh 24! That’s ok. I can crush on him Grin

I met a 28 weeker this week. He was due on Saturday past, born in July. He is only 6Lbs now! His mum said he was doing really well.

MrsJayy · 20/10/2017 12:13

Oh i have a 24yrold child so no I can't crush on keanu I will just continue to think he is a sweet boy ☺

MrsJayy · 20/10/2017 12:15

I Had a both mine early 1 at 35+a few days and 34÷ few days only 1 in scibu I think litttle Hope will be just fine.

The80sweregreat · 20/10/2017 12:15

Can I join the Keanu fan club? He could be my son - he is cute and that little lopsided smile he has. I remember the actor in Benidorm being a bit
of a jack the lad sort.
I want things to work out well for him, but this is EE!

I dont know, but can escorts also be arrested ( as prostitutes can?) is it illegal? I have no idea and i have no desire to find out either! Its not a world i know anything about.

MrsJayy · 20/10/2017 12:17

I am not going to the google but I don't think escorts can be arrested if it is seen as a date his wages will be through the agency

The80sweregreat · 20/10/2017 12:24

I see, so the agency may have to do business as something else with that as a sideline? i am sure it all goes on, but i was surprised about the office as i would have thought it would be on line these days ( or in the back of glossy magazines or newspaper ads)
oh well, at least the family will have a bit of cash for a week or two.

NoCryLilSoftSoft · 20/10/2017 12:28

I’m clearly naive about this but does escort always mean prostitute?

The80sweregreat · 20/10/2017 12:30

I am not sure of the definition either really - I guess paying someone to take you to dinner or the pub is okay - but if the women want 'extras' they are still paying for sex arn't they? Maybe the agency will only arrange the dates and the rest is up to the client. its a grey area i suppose.

NoCryLilSoftSoft · 20/10/2017 12:32

Yes I think I remember the agency woman saying extras was between keanu and the client which presumably means if she paid him for sex he kept all the money himself?

The80sweregreat · 20/10/2017 12:32

Must also be a lot easier for the men to worm their way out of it too , if they don;t fancy the woman or not interested in earning any more money.

dingdongdigeridoo · 20/10/2017 14:33

I don’t think many police forces bother to go after escorts. Unless you’re a streetwalker or running a brothel there’s not an awful lot they can do. That said, I bet they will do a storyline where he gets arrested.

The80sweregreat · 20/10/2017 14:40

I would be scared of just meeting some random bloke anyway - even if its in a crowded public place - these 'escorts' could really be anyone and just pretend they have been sent by the agency, but have a different agenda altogether.
i have never seen American Gigilo , but that is the only film i can think of about a male escort! ( must have been others?) its not an area that is usually tackled in soaps!

DameSquashalot · 20/10/2017 15:03

Intomyarms I loved 30 Something ❤️❤️❤️❤️

SoupDragon · 20/10/2017 15:18

Isn't it soliciting for business that is illegal rather than prostitution itself? Also, "pimping" which would be why the agency say extras are between Keanu and the client.

The80sweregreat · 20/10/2017 15:25

I wonder if Karen will do ' her nut' with him if she discovers the truth, or think its a good idea to carry on? i am not sure, the money will make a difference to their lives, but she also loves her children and might not like the fact that he is doing this and try and stop him?

youarenotkiddingme · 20/10/2017 16:29

My cousin was a 23 weeker!

32 weeks is still hit and miss. I think it's because woman go up to 38-42 weeks gestation so at this point some babies are stronger than others. There's also a massive range in their weight.

RJnomore1 · 20/10/2017 16:43

32 weeks isn't really hit or miss - almost all babies born then would be expected to survive and to have no long term issues. Obviously that doesn't mean all - but although they need more medical support in the early days the survival rate is about 99%.

23 weeker is much more scary!
