I was watching the apprentice last night. At the end of it, Rory - who was a bit of a berk admittedly - was pretty much told he was a useless waste of space, a big failure, past bankcruptcy referred to.

I know he chose to go on the programme. But if I was told so publicly I was a fat zero I think all my confidence would be gone forever and the rest of my life would be in tatters.

Am I soft or am I missing something?

Noooo, Katie def a bit evil, will-stop-at-nothing type. Siralan doesn't want that. My money is on Lohan(?) at the moment - very steady, seems hard-working and has tackled everything pretty well (with the exception of the labels last night).
How funny was Tre's pitching? And at the end, when he said 'I have another thing I am good at to cross off my list'
Think siralan was spot on to fire Natalie - she did not do at all well yest, and a misguided sense of loyalty meant she brought the wrong people into the boardroom with her.

God, I love this show!

Katie is an devious, manipulating, backstabbing, conniving, insincere witch. I want her to make it to the last 3 and then Sralan to fire her!.

Sralan definitely made the right decision by getting rid of Natalie. Last week she revealed her true colours as a mendacious and dishonest team member and this week as project manager, she provided no leadership, no inspiration, no strategy and was completely in awe of Katie. Katie should have been in the boardroom for she came up with their sales strategy which failed. As leader, Natalie failed to bring out the best in Adam and made no attempt to even try and engage with him.

Tre, gosh, Mr Perfect is going to fall hard when he finally gets the boot. Poor thing!

This series is already better than the second one. Fabulous and insightful viewing

You're not soft pointydog just have different values. Being hardnosed is an admirable business quality apparently. I just think its sad that people set themselves up it. But then I'm even sadder for watching it. I'm particularly fond of Jeremy Kyle which is worse as people actually go on his programme for help..

Find Kate very difficult to watch. Can't stand her sycophantic behaviour. Loved the fact that she failed to sell any pics.
Jadine very much in the background this week. It's interesting to see how they edit the programme and focus on certain individuals.

That "lips" photos woman was horrendous. Over-inflated sense of her own importance, control freak, and rubbish "art" to boot.

Did anyone else think "trophy wife sponsored by hubby" when they saw her other half?

Oh yes Quietdad. There is no way I would have chosen her pictures to sell. She had not sold any before, she would not give her client list (probably because she has not got one) and she was insufferably condenscending and pompous.

Did anybody else cringe when Katie and the other posh guy were trying to sell tickets to the city players. Katie's use of terms like "frightfully good" in her overposh voice had me and DH in hysterics.

Was it just me, or did anyone else think Trey was Sacha-bowen-cohen (or whatever his name is) as Borat, last night?

Tre is brilliant in a horrid sort of way - "I ain't come from no fish"

The lip pictures were vile as were the woman who took them. I cringed at the team running around putting blutack in the holey walls and then them all looking horrified because the "artist" was not happy about the white wine being poured.

Anybody see the "next week" trailer? Tre going on about "is it 'er time of the monf or sommink"?

Katie looks freaky to me. What is it with the white suit too? Every time they are in the board room she has it on.

Love love love Adrian Chiles especially when he was asking those art experts last night if they would buy pics from him with his Brum accent and Natalie with her Essex accent - twas very funny
