Not sure when the next one will be announced, just hope it's not like last year where they dragged it out for weeks!

Every year I get a bit disappointed about the lineup but I always enjoy it. I stopped watching It Takes Two last year though which was a sign that I didn't like the contestants as much as previous years. I liked to watch Ore and Joanne dance but they were really annoying and over emotional.
I would love to have Anneka Rice announced, think she'd be brilliant and a great sport.

He was lovely on Celebrity Masterchief last year (maybe the year before). He always comes across as a decent chap and has a wicked sense of humour.

Aww i love him i was a huge Bronski beat and communards fan cue him dancing to every song featuring the teeniest bit of religion though

Thank goodness it's Richard Cole , I'm always worried that Chris Evans is going to be a contestant. Then I would really struggle to watch 😕

Good morning fellow Glitterati, so pleased I have found my people.I would love to see Victoria Coren on Strictly, though she is a woman of considerable bosom who would need some good corsetry in a Latin outfit!

I don't know how many of you know about the Guardian live blog that accompanies Strictly every year, it is scurrilously funny, so maybe not for the purist dance fans , but adds a great dimension to the show.

I agree with the pp who said how much strictly has become part of their autumn/winter calendar, I think it is the wonderful relentless nature of the specials, movie night, Halloween,Blackpool, they are the new equivalent of the old church festivals and holy days ! Even Cowell has admitted defeat this year and shifted the final of X Factor to avoid a humiliation in the ratings war. Go Strictly!!!

That's probably why he hasn't taken up the invitation that he must have had Mrsjay Maybe the 'marriage wrecker' side of it might influence him too, who knows?
