I agree, Phil looked the picture of health. In fact, he might have been enjoying the Italian food a bit too much. His head was even more potatoey. Grin

The actress who plays Lisa is good. She seems very natural. It's nice to see an actress that hasn't had loads of botox and what not so we can see their expressions.

Yes Phil's brush with death hasn't mellowed him. I thought maybe they were going to show him back on the booze because he was so aggressive (and a bit puffy).

i thought asking for hand in marriage was outdated, although my dh did but that was 29 years ago. lol
not sure what the procedure is now.. if i were steven, i would not have gone to see max as he knows that the x ray is fake and he hasnt got a tumour! i still think this is going to drag on till christmas and it will be clarke kent that discovers his lies ( just a guess by the way) and another christmas ruined, for a change.
i am shocked that Phil hasnt been prowling around the school looking for the bullies yet - i suppose theres time.

Lauren wanting Steve to ask max was a delaying tactic rather than old fashioned tradition.

soup i thought that he ( max) confronted steven saying that he knows he isnt ill - but then, as he hasnt said anything to lauren, steven thinks thats it all okay and Max is going along with it all? i am sure thats right, but i am not 100 percent sure!!
Didnt he show steven the x ray and say that he knew it wasnt a human one? it was a while back. steve is so deranged he doesnt seem to care much, as long as he has lauren where he wants her!

Shows how memorable it is!

I remember Max phoning the clinic and finding out Steve was lying and I remember him telling Lauren that Steven was really very ill but nothing else.

They've been together more than 6 months. They were together when they were in New Zealand and have been back on the square for over a year now.

soup, thats right! so sorry, but i then assumed that Steven knew that Max knew the truth or something like that - obviously steve is in the dark that Max knows he is telling porkies about his illness. its so confusing sometimes. Max really does have in it in for his daughter.
( especially as he could stop this engagement)
him and Abi are just horrible to her, i feel a bit sorry for her.
I suppose Sonia could have POA as she is the granddaughter. it costs a lot though if you go to a solicitor ( not sure if you can do it cheaper on line)

Did Max ever care about his children? I don't think he really did. Appalling what he's doing to his own daughter. Steven is just awful, very uncomfortable viewing. I think Lauren might confide in Josh.

Where was Lisa supposed to be? Was that a psychiatrist? I wasn't paying attention at that point.

dont forget the 'secret wife' Max had when he went out of it for a while. she showed up christmas day as he was going to re marry Tanya on the square! she had big lips and was in it for a while, but i cant remember her name.
He has had more women than Ian Beale.

Remind me. I roared with laughter (well nearly, I smirked a bit) when Max said he'd call Carmel to meet up. Carmel says something like 'What if I'm busy?' Max, who I think is supposed to be sexy, mumbles 'Cancel it, then." I thought she'd have ;laughed in his face. Apparently not!

yes, lucy, hence the reason there is all this revenge going on with him. He went down for something he didnt do.. does he know it was Bobby that did the deed? apart from getting the chippy for Mr big ( if he has done that?) he hasnt really done much to Ian and Jane - they were more responsible for him being in prison than Lauren was. maybe that is all for later. trouble is, the lucy story was so many years ago now we've all forgotten who did what to whom! lol
