I think Sam will wake up in the ITU and eventually go to find Cartwright, Hunt and the others, as they are now.

There'll be a lovely scene with Cartwright experiencing Deja Vu when she meets him.

The playground isn't marvellous, but it's okay (if that makes any sense!) and my ds seems to love it.

Loved last nights episode. Liked the fact that the DCI threw a question mark over the whole thing. I wondered if the remark "We'll get you home" was the Dr speaking to him in his coma meaning we will get you well again and out of hospital. ?

My theory (for what it's worth)

Sam is in a coma. All the 1973 people are his various 'alter egos' eg Cartwright is his 'feminine side'

This is the second series, mumpbump, and they've definitely said it's the last one.

From the BBC website re next week:

Bluddi hell! The first one completely passed me by! Am guessing it must have been on when ds was young and I had no ability to stay awake beyond 21:00!!

Mr Glennister also suggested that there may be a Gene Hunt spin off...so I doubt he carks it

And Morgan kept using more up-to-date ideas and phrases, as if he was reading Sam's mind/from the future.

There is a series called Ashes to Ashes being produced which will feature Gene Hunt and his station back in the 1970s. Minus John Simm

WelshBoris - I think the Ashes to Ashes was going to be in the 80s, but as far as I know the idea's been ditched.
