I think Tracey should take a job at the Albert, then be asked back by woody or Shirley and then tell them where to shove their job.

I can't imagine that Tracey will be out of a job for long, unless she gets a job in the Minute Mart or a stall, the bosses would have to sack her in real life and then expect her to act the same scene, which would be really awkward.

I did think (and this is where I show my catty side) that Tracy didn't seem a very strong actress. But I do love her, and that cancels out that thought.

Do you think that they are going to promote Tracy from an extra to a proper character now? Or was that a random day of having a story and she will go back to being an extra in the Albert or in the stall etc?

I loved that : Kathy: she took the bus from East ham and turned up for every shift! The others all live a 3 minute walk from the pub ( or above it) no wonder they are in awe of someone actually getting public transport to work! ( She did manage to miss the bus of doom in january though)
I agree that the Albert would have a certain type working there ( young and funky types) but i suppose Vincent sees it as a chance to attract the Vic punters and have more trade/ piss off shirley maybe. Whole thing is ridiculous anyway.

Vincent could be thinking long term. Bar work requires a certain tolerance for the intoxicated
public. Could even call it a vocation. Not a lot of casual bar staff do it for long, it's often young people using it as a stepping stone to the 'real' job, and they can be unreliable. When you see a person who's good at it, reliable and stuck to it for 30 years, you might want to snap them up.

Do you think the actors say to the producer er that didn't happen? Friday was Sharon and everyone saying no don't sack us Linda asked me blah blah. But yesterday she had no job! Why isn't she back with Phil? Why does she even need a job anyway?

It's as if after they filmed the episode someone said - oh but it would've made sense for Sharon to quit really wouldn't it - and then whoever is responsible for the utter nonsense currently said oh yeah, bugger, that would've made more sense, hmm don't worry we'll put that in the next episode Hmm
