I'm going to be really disappointed if it is a Spencer twin 😒

The Aria FaceTime voice thing sounds like a mashup of Sydney and Mary/Jessica.

I thought it sounded like Sydney, but after watching again I thought the turn of phrase sounded more like Melissa. Something about the emphasis on trust reminded me of the jibes between Melissa and Spencer about loyalty and trust between sisters.

However I have spent the last 24 hours pondering a magical school locker so feel free to ignore me

I say that as if the show has ever been mildly realistic

I take it back, I'm still annoyed and pissed off at the locker. Surely it is a sign....of something...

I've always kind this show as a bit silly but capable of being genuine tense and scary, I dunno if it's just because I've got cynical about it but magic lockers and maniacal laughs are not scary! Nor the fucking face timey thing. A face in shadow under the hood would've been better.

I'm feeling v underwhelmed by this season and they've only got 5 episodes left to sort it out

Are we underwhelmed because we have been through a rollercoaster ride with this show for so long and we are expecting a continuation of those mad highs? And because we overthink it and expect a lot of things to be explained?

I think we do need to be prepared to be pretty disappointed BUT then, we need to rewatch it...without that feeling of stress each week at analysing everything and worrying it won't all be wrapped up!
And then we will be able to rewatch Mona being Mona

I think you are right we have analysed the show so much that we will probably be disappointed if we have guessed the reveal!

Hmm good idea! It would make sense for Spencer to ask Wren for help. How would she explain the credit card and receipt?

No idea. But I'm sure it will be a completely normal, sensible reason and not along the lines of a magic locker

They're spending so much time reminding us Charlotte was previously Charles that I think she is probably the dad... Absolutely insane. (except for on pll!)

They used that number as the code for Caleb's locker in s1 (and the motel room Spencer and Toby stake out Jenna at) not sure if it turns up anywhere elss

Thinking about 214, that whole plot starts with Toby giving Spencer that as a clue, and initially they think it means bad in braille.
I wonder if the writers just use it as a sign of a bad number?

I like your thinking! But does that point to Toby being connected somehow? I hope not, Toby and Caleb are true anti-AD
In my mind (unless Caleb and Mona are AD for the greater good and then I am very happy)
