It's here...after eight months of waiting!! So I'm starting a live PLL thread for the first ep. Comments...spoilers...."yeah, right"s....

But. What do you reckon if Aria has a lookalike and that's who Tanner saw in the next state giving Aria an alibi?

Also, and I don't know if I'm majorly over-invested 😂...BUT...they didn't play "Spencer's shagging song" during their scene. Clue?

And why the nurse in Radley thought he recognized Aria!

I would put money on it being Twincer now.

Shall we pool the clues?

1. Hanna's dream
2. Seducing Toby like Mary did Peter
3. Subtle change of demeanour with Toby in latest episode. Toby says something like her not seeming like Spencer.
4. Spencer uncharacteristically harsh with Emily over Ali
5. Scenes with Charles in dollhouse. Charles has hair tied up. Is familiar to Spencer. Same height.
6. Airport scene with Wren. No watch. Acting weirdly.
7. Mary Drake saying "almost like twins" about her and Melissa
8. VH saying something like how it felt like at home Spencer had an evil twin
9. Emily and Ali finding two matching doll lights for the nursery

10. The masks 11. Troian. She is an outstanding actress. Totally up to the task. And her Twitter bio says this "Sometimes I play this chick Spencer Hastings. But only sometimes". 12. Furey says something about Spencer being vulnerable or something and we were like Spencer isn't like that 13. Spencer played ping pong with her left hand. She's right handed. 14. Mental illness at the root of everything. 15. We don't know what BethAny Young looks like. But B. A. D. = 214. 214 is the key number of the show. 16. Spencer has that vision of the inpatient dancing in that creepy room in Radley 17. Spencer could have a split personality. 18. Spencer's fringe.

I don't think there is a Spencer twin. I think she's behaving erratically because of all the things she's found out and been through

So a "Twin" who happens to be her then?

Split personality perhaps? It could explain why it is someone we know but not how we know them

I'm going to stick with my Toby theory and say it could mean we know them as in we obviously know Toby but we don't know the character because all we've seen is the nice guy and not him as A.D.

For it to make any sense (I know this is asking a lot from PLL) it has to be someone who has a grudge against all the girls as they're all terrorised.

That scene where all the girls are in the classroom and they say "quick he's coming" and say they've come back for Ali, does anyone have any ideas on that? Or do we already know and I'm just losing my mind?

I keep wondering about the classroom scene too. It hasn't been explained yet has it? Who the heck is 'he'? Didn't someone here point out the surname that Ali wrote on the board? I think I'm going to have to start rewatching Season 7

Was it actually Spencer they dound in the woods (Jane Doe) or her twin?

If it is the Twin theory, I'd love the real Spencer still to be in the dolls house or somewhere similar (twisted, me?)

Btw, we should be looking for "in your face" clues atm. Rewatching s1/2, it was obvious from about s2 ep12 that it was Mona! Ceecee, I think the hints were harder- but Mona was SO A all the way through!

It's interesting that the 'Mrs Rollins' scene has been used in this promo, I assumed it was a mistake on their part and it wouldn't be explained! Perhaps it's used in the second time jump?

The "he's going to kill me - M" note was from the back of the wardrobe in Mona/Ali's room when A put Mona in the hole, a little while before they escaped. So supposed to be Mona. I assume it was!

The Mrs Rollins thing was surely a mistake?! But apparently they're going to explain it... it better not be another dream.
