Lee went to the same school as Jon Simm (sp?). That's a school that I might have like to attend (slight drooling...)

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 16/04/2017 11:24

Side note : when did Neil Morrissey stop doing Bob The Builder??

Ferrisday · 16/04/2017 11:29

I saw a new improved episode of Bob the builder, I thought it was still him ?

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 16/04/2017 11:42

Apparently, Lee Ingleby's been doing it for two years!

thegreylady · 16/04/2017 15:31

Baccus was Lee Ingleby's best ever. I wish they'd bring Gently back.

CoolCarrie · 16/04/2017 15:40

It's interesting to see how well Martin Shaw's career has gone over the years, compared to the late Lewis Collins. Loved them both in The Professionals. Lee is excellent in LOD, and has nice face, but Shaun Evens are Morse is my type.
Counting down the hours now...

musicalfrog · 16/04/2017 18:13

Gently is coming back for one more series!

And whilst I do love Lee, the new BtB is dire.

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 16/04/2017 19:39

I can't abide Gently never watched it Martin Shaw gives me the creeps. Also Vera and Brenda Blethyn's bloody awful accent. We can't criticise Julie Hesmondhalgh and Martin C and leave that unsaid.

Line of Duty is amazing because it is so superior to all other procedural type telly. Yes, even Bored-church. (sorry : DH's name : he has a name for everything : Vera is Dairrhoea)

pepperpot99 · 16/04/2017 19:46

I can't bear the waiting....dh is convinced Steve will have died from his injuries but I'm not so sure. he can't die can he? Steve just Cannot Die.
If we don't actually find out what happened with Tim/Thandie/Hanna soon on the night of Tim's death I think I might self combust.
It can't have been Nick thingy that attacked Steve, too obvious, I reckon it might be that new flirty AC12 boy, Jamie? is he the new Caddy?
Watched series 1 back on Netflix last week and I have to say nothing can top Lennie James although I wish I could top him in another way he was beyond brilliant Grin

pepperpot99 · 16/04/2017 19:48

I slightly fancy Steve as well not to mention Dot from previous series

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 16/04/2017 19:49

It can't be the new boy : he is vvv tall. And balaclava man was taller then Arnott who isn't? but not that tall.

I should be in AC12 I should.

FeralBeryl · 16/04/2017 20:07

I'm actually that sad an individual that I'm getting slight butterflies for this evening's episode.
I think I'm just fearful about Steve.
Come lad, you've bounced back from worse....

Just thought... if I remember correctly (please tell me if I'm wrong, because I'm thinking way too much about this program!) TN swapped the blood samples in the KRG-13/30 bag, so there should be traces of her blood/DNA in the bag. Steve wanted the sample retested, if it is, will this be her undoing?

Optimist1 · 16/04/2017 20:18

Excellent thought, Craic ! She should have replaced the bag as well as the sample (which would have meant no crossing-out of the number, as well as no residual DNA from the original sample) to be 100% undetectable.

NorfolksGiven · 16/04/2017 20:22

If he is dead that means Kate solving it all in her own doesn't it. Unless that new guy is set up to take Steve's place. Sorry if that has already been said.

I don't want Steve to die!

I'm frantically trying to get toddler tired so she'll go to bed before 9.

ktel1 · 16/04/2017 20:23

I think the SOCO guy Kevin is somehow involved- he's the one who noted the KRG13 evidence and was on duty in the evidence room when Roz switched the sample.

I'm not sure what his involvement is exactly just a feeling.

NoWordForFluffy · 16/04/2017 20:27

My toddlers are currently resisting bed too, Norfolks. 😂😡

tribpot · 16/04/2017 20:27

I'm about to tell ds he has to have his bedtime story now if he wants one as I have to watch this one live.

Tillymintsmama · 16/04/2017 20:31

I re-watched series 1 and 2 this week on Netflix! Steve is definitely like a cat with 9 lives... can't wait for 9pm xxx

NorfolksGiven · 16/04/2017 20:33

The guy in the evidence room quite a famous TV actor - too big for this seemingly tiny role.

Toddler is sliding down her Dads legs. Looking wide awake - despite almost falling asleep an hour ago. Second wind Hmm

ktel1 · 16/04/2017 20:38

Norfolks- yes the actor is part of why I suspect him, as well as the circumstances.

I also think beardy detective is suspicious.

Basically I'm beginning to suspect everyone lol.

NorfolksGiven · 16/04/2017 20:41

I can't think who the beardy detective is Shock

ktel1 · 16/04/2017 20:45

Just looked it up-beardy detective is Neil

tribpot · 16/04/2017 20:48

If the programme makers are feeling very evil, this ep will not resolve the question of Steve's life-or-death fall. Like maybe it covers the same time period as the previous ep from a different point of view (as done by Scandal recently). However - they only kept us in suspense about Thandie's non-decapitation for about 10 mins so I have hope that at least we will know.

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 16/04/2017 20:51

Evidence room guy is familiar to me too. Hmmmmm
