the point everyone is missing is that size 0 people are SHORT.

like kylie short.

models are size 8s. they are TOO TALL to be size 0s.

all reputable modelling agencies have minimum height requirements.

ScottishThistle · 07/03/2007 21:41

No Louise is talking UK sizes when she says 8 is normal therefore size 4 un US!

themoon66 · 07/03/2007 21:41

Vickie Beckham is about 5ft 7in I thought. Thats not short.

NappiesGalore · 07/03/2007 21:41

i weighed myself after id put some weight back on (ive never been one for weighing myself, certainly not regularly) and i was almost 6 stone. at 5'5". my upper arms were the same size as my lower arms. yearch.

compo · 07/03/2007 21:41

ScottishThistle · 07/03/2007 21:42

Expat, there are alot of size 0 models out there believe me...girls are dying!

compo · 07/03/2007 21:42

US - size zero
= UK - size four

nally · 07/03/2007 21:42

nally · 07/03/2007 21:44

ok, i am going on a sponsored diet.. hand over the money. i WILL be smaller!

nally · 07/03/2007 21:45

9 stone is little

NappiesGalore · 07/03/2007 21:46

MoM - if its the same one as last night, i felt that way a bit at the beginning too, but by the end i am so glad i eat what i want and feel healthy and happy. you can buy clothes to suit any shape at all - much better solution i think!!!

MerlinsBeard · 07/03/2007 21:46

ScottishThistle · 07/03/2007 21:47

My friend went down to 6stone after her Mother died, I reckon she was a size zero...it's horrific to see in the flesh!

NappiesGalore · 07/03/2007 21:47

i think so nally. i need to exercise for fitness, stamina and health. and as far as vanity goes, im not happy in a bikini anymore and would rather be MUCH more toned.
but im v happy with my size.

how much do you weigh?

BlueDaisy · 07/03/2007 21:48

I'd rather have her house than her figure!

nally · 07/03/2007 21:48

10 stone. size 12. happy with size really, just too flabberdabbery!

MerlinsBeard · 07/03/2007 21:49

i don't want to say NG but lets just say i am incredibly unhappy with my size now, despite not being enormous.

OP posts:
MerlinsBeard · 07/03/2007 21:50

oh u were asking nally thats ok then!!

OP posts:
NappiesGalore · 07/03/2007 21:51

er... alst post sounds like i do exercise... i mean, i wish i had willpower to exercise for those reasons. but i dont!

i dunno - i dont remember rednapp being in the one last night. bbc3 it might have been...

she went to see Joshi - a 'holistic' blokey in london in last nights... and he told her that her fat/rest of her ratio made her obese!! she was thin as a rake!!! i met him, saw him for my back once. thought he was a bit of a tosser myself. and last nights prog confirmed it!

nally · 07/03/2007 21:51

my bmi is 22, which apparently is just right, so i can't be going too far wrong, even though scoffing anything that moves or has lots of sugar in it...

TwoIfBySea · 07/03/2007 21:54

I could do with loosing a heck of a lot of weight, still not as fat as some 8 year olds though but I am happiest at size 16. Which is probably still considered fat but I look dreadful any less than that, need my hips and boobs, could do without the jelly belly.

One of my good friends is a size 8, always has been, was back in her jeans straight after having her last dd without any effort. I could cry! And she packs her food in. It just isn't fair.

Would never want to look like Skeletor though, size 0 is a joke. Never met any man who thought it attractive at all, wonder why these women do it then?

NappiesGalore · 07/03/2007 21:55

MoM - change what you eat, NOT how much. or you will NEVER stick to it.

but dont bve unhappy!!! theres so much worse to worry about in life, if being squidgy is the worst of it, youre v lucky indeed!!!

and you, nally, 10 stone is NOT enormous.

y'all need more chocolate. dark choc coz theres less fat and more feel-good chemicals. make it fairtrade too and feel really good about it (she said, getting out a large bar of said choc)

TwoIfBySea · 07/03/2007 21:55

And I saw the other programme, the one with Daisy Whoseit, this one is better made perhaps because it is longer and not so rushed.
