but come on Louise and Denise Van Outen discussing size zero? they're both size 8....................

would die to look like either of them

nally · 07/03/2007 21:20

haven't been size 8 since 11 years ago and that was only due to stress.

compo · 07/03/2007 21:20

has she actually said how tall she is?
She said size 8 is just normal for people now. Not amongst my friends it isn't!!

nally · 07/03/2007 21:22

i only have one friend who is size 10, the rest of them (and myself) are at least size 12.

airy · 07/03/2007 21:22

I'm watching it and defiantly eating a bowl of chips

wheresthehamster · 07/03/2007 21:24

I'm watching it balancing a plate on my stomach - like I used to do when 9 months pregnant.

I MUST start dieting tomorrow.

BlueDaisy · 07/03/2007 21:24

mmm chips

handlemecarefully · 07/03/2007 21:24

Anything that makes Louise Redknapp smaller and less visible is a good thing by me.

The Beeb did an excellent size 0 documentary type thingy a couple of weeks ago with a journalist dieting from size 12 to an attempted size 0 on 500 cals per day. It was fascinating.

BlueDaisy · 07/03/2007 21:24

anyone see an identical prog on BBC3 with a size 12 girl doing the same thing?

BlueDaisy · 07/03/2007 21:25

x posts!

BlueDaisy · 07/03/2007 21:25

boot camp barry was on that too

dabihp · 07/03/2007 21:27

She is so skinny already!

ScottishThistle · 07/03/2007 21:28

I think she means size 8 amongst those in the public eye is 'normal'...obviously in the real world size 14 is more like 'normal'!

I'm transfixed to the amount of exercise & the 'no' carbs!...That'd kill me!

MerlinsBeard · 07/03/2007 21:30

god i need to excercise

OP posts:
BlueDaisy · 07/03/2007 21:31

want to turn it off but can't for some reason!!!!!

ScottishThistle · 07/03/2007 21:34

I wouldn't put myself through that for £1,000,000!

wheresthehamster · 07/03/2007 21:34

That agent has just said he can't see anything wrong with slim models being told to lose an inch or two in the name of 'fashion' and a quarter of a million pounds.

How can fashion houses think their clothes look better on a bag of bones?

I can't stop watching either.

ScottishThistle · 07/03/2007 21:36

When I was 23 I had a 23in waist, the pressure of living in the centre of Milan really got to me!

My thighs have never been what you would call 'slim' however!

themoon66 · 07/03/2007 21:37

They mean size 0 american size, which I think is a size 4 here. So a size 8 is a normal 12.

NappiesGalore · 07/03/2007 21:38

this was on last night, no?

i ended up thinking how happy i am to be a size 12 and proud... i feel pretty skinny tbh. a bit squidgy like, but not in the least bit fat. i need to firm what i have up of course, but i aint losin none of it for no-one!!

i used to be a size 8-10 btw and always felt like i was too fat (wtf???) duh.... i was once even a size 6, at the most, and had modelling offers and stuff... felt really attractive... till i came home (id been living abroad) and everyone who knew/loved me said 'EAT!!!' so i did

id never 'diet' in a million years. i'll change what i eat, but will NEVER go hungry.

BlueDaisy · 07/03/2007 21:38

I'm not really warming to Louise I must say. Shes not very - not sure of the word..someone help me out here!!/??
