I've met Lee Ryan a few times, he used to hang about in a shop I was the manager of, generally making a nuisance of himself and begging the girls that worked there to go out with him ( they never did)

I just assumed Elaine was paying for his wages as he usually works at her pub.

Is anyone else confused about the upstairs layout of the vic? The dust in the pub didn't correspond with where I thought the kitchen was.

The scene with Shirley and the vicar was really good and believable. But I thought Easter at Eastenders was supposed to be dramatic these days? Didn't Lucy get murdered on Good Friday? Sharon in the hook a duck paddling pool wasn't really on a par, was it? Plus no mention by Ian and Jane. I know it's a different day but very close.

I'm hoping that NuChelle will get a nu new storyline soon. The first one was so crappy and icky. Maybe she can be a bit less irritating?? Maybe do some different facial expressions rather than the frown? Please don't let Preston return. But I'd like Courtney to come back and maybe Mark. They could have had some mileage.

nancy, bless little Lee eh? i am shocked nobody wanted to go out with him though - he was a big name once.. maybe he was more Dean Gaffney than i thought. (Not that i;m that know that much about C list celebs to be honest.) Funeral for Sylvie was a bit naff although i did feel for Tina, the only one who loved her parents.

It's not believable that Sharon instead of making the pub half tidy for the wake spent morning doing the accounts that no one needs that day and let a family member down. Yea don't worry it's just our pub! If they can suddenly afford hundreds a week for. A pub manager why not sandwiches for the wake?? Just dosnt make Sense.

It's starting to get annoying now it's so dull - the mr/miss walford comp? Jay and Ben desperate for cash, Lauren and Steven just generally, Sharon is pointless as are Ian and Jane at the moment. And the bullying thing was odd with keeping Louise out of trouble - she was in the video of the cat poo truffle thing wasn't she? Will madison and the other one just vanish now like Keegan(?) has?

The funeral was odd too, surely Bex would have gone as she used to live with Sylvie, and Kathy as Tina's friend? Would've been a great opportunity to bring Babe back too. All just feels muddled to me like it's being made up on the day with no thought for future stories

It is all so disjointed. Small storylines like pub theme nights are taking over. Who cares? At this stage I'm hoping Max does something to the Vic sooner than later. It is all so boring.

Sylvie's funeral was strange too. Why didn't Lee go to it? Kathy? Dot? Bex? Sharon? Ian? As a mark of respect to the mother of their close friends at least?

When Twitney said "is she OK?" She was talking about the dog cage, not Lady Di.

I think Shirley was magically released rather than given time out to go to the funeral.

Can't believe they just let Shirley out after beating up her cellmate and if she is there just for the funeral surely she would have prison officers with her. I went to a funeral once and the deceased's son was there, handcuffed to a prison officer at the graveside! Don't think it was because he was dangerous, more that he might do a runner.

I'm glad the ceiling has finally fallen down, the storyline has been going on for so long. Where was the water coming from? It wasn't raining! None of it makes sense.

I agree about Lauren and Steven storyline, it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. She should either have an affair or not. Don't want to listen to her whingeing on about her career anymore.

lee ryan's debut as Woody is a bit odd - but i think we should give the guy a chance, after all, even I warmed to Robbie jackson and wellard in the end!
He may turn out to be a much loved character - i am an optimist at heart these days. ( either that or really annoying and have lots of friction with Mick when he comes back from nursing Nancy!) He cant be any worse than Nu chelle is at the moment.

Well they still have kitchen in pub so could still live there if was just ceiling. But if they are still so broke then have to sell the pub, woulnt they?

i think the place needs rebuilding from scratch, its had its day that pub really - new kitchen, new upstairs, the whole works.
I;m shocked anyone goes in there considering how close the other bars are and 'up town' where there are better places to have a pint, without a leaking roof and possibly dead dogs.

The designer dog crate must have been a bit flimsy. What if someone had sat on it? Shirley picked up the piece of wood that fell on it without even taking her coat off.

And talking of better places to go, surely there's a better park to go to than the dismal swing outside the Arches? Even Louis looked depressed.
