Stacey would rip those girls to shreds

SoupDragon · 11/04/2017 20:02

You don't see buskers outside Walford Tube I guess.

Yeah, Stacey would slaughter the bitches.they must get their comeuppance soon, surely.

southeastdweller · 11/04/2017 20:39

Of course Carmel is too old to be Max's type but I can see him starting a relationship with her so he can manipulate her into helping him with his body development dealings.

The two girls playing those little bitches are great but the storyline is still dragging.

woodhill · 11/04/2017 21:47

How come Stacey didn't realise who the girls were. Wouldn't Bex have mentioned it or Martin. She's in her own home. Why doesn't she tell them to get lost.

SpanishFly · 11/04/2017 22:11

I've got really confused - why isn't Bex telling anyone she's still being bullied??

The80sweregreat · 11/04/2017 22:12

poor Bex Sheerin, i hate those girls sooo much/
Kush and D, just get a room!

Optimist1 · 11/04/2017 22:25

Much as I'm happy for Denise and Kush, I'm sure all viewers are able to imagine the extent of their lovie-dovieness without having it spelled out on screent. I don't often feel prudish, but the scriptwriters were really labouring the point, weren't they?

So Kim will see a mysterious purchase on her credit card - a posh dog crate ordered? She (or possibly Vincent) will talk to the supplier to find out the details of the transaction and discover where it's being dispatched to, surely?

For a moment this evening it seemed that Bex was getting back on track - talking normally with Shaki, giving the busking a go, etc. but next thing we know she's letting those bullies (Louise being the worst IMHO) invade her safe place. Sad

nancy75 · 11/04/2017 22:28

Bex was brave before & told the school what was going on, they didnt do anything about it, she probably thinks nobody can help her - I think this is quite realistic and a lot of kids feel this way when they are bullied

SinisterBumFacedCat · 11/04/2017 22:49

Bex's storyline is quite upsetting. It's a shame people are just saying "why isn't she telling?" and "why isn't she standing up for herself?" rather than questioning the bullies behaviour.

SoupDragon · 11/04/2017 22:53

I think they've laboured the "Louise looking conflicted" part of the story too much now.

SoupDragon · 11/04/2017 22:55

rather than questioning the bullies behaviour.

Confused everyone has said they are nasty.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 11/04/2017 23:17

everyone has said they are nasty.

Yes. But the blame is firmly placed on Bex for not "telling anyone" or "sticking up for herself". There are lots of bullies in EE at the moment, Keegan, Dennis, the two girls, it might have been nice to see at least of them get their come up-pence.

SoupDragon · 11/04/2017 23:19

That is not my impression at all.

We all see things differently though.

Theycalledmethewildrose · 11/04/2017 23:53

I hate the Bex storyline. I find it really chilling and upsetting. I presume Sonia will have to return to sort it all out once and for all as Martin seems utterly incapable of being helpful with his bull in a china shop attitude.

Presumably the dog bed delivery address will be discovered.

Why is Michelle moving in with Jay and Ben. Surely if she absolutely had to live near the Square, she would at least live nearby instead of in the Square such as Roxy's old flat?

spiderslight · 11/04/2017 23:57

I think, and from my own point of view, we're willing Bex to say something, it doesn't have to minimise the behaviour of the bullies. Though this guitar destruction might be the tipping point for Bex and/or Louise.

spiderslight · 11/04/2017 23:58

The dog crate thing is still irritating me (credit card theft aside). For goodness sake take it to a vet.

HateSummer · 12/04/2017 01:07

Hate Shitchelle. Why does she insist on drinking every 2 mins?

I really am disliking the Bex storyline. How does Stacey not know who these girls were? Agree this may be the point where Sonia returns, or should return!

Horrible sneaky whit. I hope she pisses off to jail too.

porterwine · 12/04/2017 01:10

New to mumsnet and the thread!

Everything with Bex is so chilling and I'm wondering if it'll go really dark. With the new comments now from the girls about her weight- possibly introducing an eating disorder storyline. I don't think EE has ever done that have they?

I had a few month break from Eastenders and only started watching again a few weeks ago. How did Louise even become friends with these girls? Did they become friends and then the bullying of Bex started, or was it already going on?

SpanishFly · 12/04/2017 06:23

Sinister - "Bex's storyline is quite upsetting. It's a shame people are just saying "why isn't she telling?" and "why isn't she standing up for herself?" rather than questioning the bullies behaviour."
Not sure if that was directed at my last comment or not, but if so I was asking why she isnt telling anyone - not blaming her for not doing so.

Can anyone remind me, what was the outcome when she got into bother at school re the photo and Martin went to the school? Didn't it get resolved in any way? I've clearly not being paying much attention lately.

I've been watching with my DS (12) and it's been such a good way to discuss things like bullying, and why it is so important that he has somebody (me/teacher/my friends etc) he can trust to tell if something happened like this. As much as it's an awful storyline to watch, it's good at raising the discussion without it being me lecturing him.

And MeChelle - OMG her voice is killing me - there's no drama in it, no matter what mood she's in, her voice has the same bland tone to it.

celeste84 · 12/04/2017 07:36

Its all set up for Michelle to put two and two together or stumble across the Bex bullying storyline and save her. I'm hoping Stacey teaches them a lesson though. Its a horrible storyline though but quite realistic what happens at schools up and down the country.

youarenotkiddingme · 12/04/2017 07:54

I think they are showing how clever and manipulative bullies can be. They are bullying her in public but their body language and actions (shoulder type massage etc) all look friendly to the outside eye.
Coupled with school not being able to do anything adds to the isolation Bex feels.

MrsJayy · 12/04/2017 09:05

The Bex story is really sad bullying like that can go on for years i know EE have ramped it up for effect my Dd was bullied by the same girl and her cronies from 1st year in secondary till she left at 17 it destroys their confidence so Bex isn't able to fight back god knows why Stacy let them in though she knew Louise was involved even though she hadn't seen the other girls before

MrsJayy · 12/04/2017 09:10

Oh D and Kush just need to calm down we get it Dee you have a hot young boyfriend Envy Grin

BrutusMcDogface · 12/04/2017 09:12

I thought Denise and kush were a bit too full on for pre watershed; ny kids are too young to watch and we're in bed but as a young teen, I used to watch with my mum and would've died of embarrassment at those scenes!!

MrsJayy · 12/04/2017 09:16

It was a bit much Dd was turning inside out wth the cringe
