Yes, I never understand why, in Soapville, you must NEVER tell a loved one about an illness. We had it with Alfie and his brain tumour as well.
Btw, are Alfie and Kat coming back? They won the lottery, left for a year, came back in for a couple of months - in which they covered brain tumours and unknown childbirth (which has got to be THE stupidest EE storyline ever) - and then they popped off again.

What was the point of doing those storylines? I did hear someyhing about a spin-off (Red River or something?) but nothing since.
