I was out shopping yesterday and saw Primark, H and M and Next are selling beige macs. It's an epidemic!

I like a beige Mac just not on me or men in their early 20's. As much as I love Frank Spencer, his look is not one they should aspire to. He's probably got himself a nice beret by now.

Completely off topic, but I wouldn't recommend using the @tagging with only a part name. I've had several emails for an assortment of name changes because someone has a name that starts the same but the person tagging has left off, say, the numbers at the end.

Shaki also has the "frown" where his eyebrows go in the opposite way to Jaydon Smith's.

I hate the @ thing gets on my wick sorry totally off topic but it is so not needed bold does just fine when talking to somebody on a thread. Or Pm people dont @ people

Hate to disagree, MrsJayy , but I find the @ to be a useful function! As I see it, we now have three alternatives :

Bold : When I want to respond to someone, but it's not important if they miss what I'm saying.

@ : When I'd like someone to know what I responded but can't be sure that they'll be coming back to the thread to see what I'm saying.

PM : When I really want someone to know what I feel about something.

I like the fact that the @ method isn't as direct as PM.

I use a seperate gmail for mumsnet after the hacking and I am hardly ever in it so miss my @s think that is why is annoys me so much.

I have received @s for MajorClanger. Sadly they were meant for MajorClanger123. I've also discovered that I have a nickname called WhoAmI which i do not recall at all!!

She must be a bit peeved that her closest friend, Sharon, pretty much flew to another country as soon as she arrived.
