PLL - Who do you think A is?

I've been re-watching PLL, and I want to know your A theories.

Alternatively, who do you want to be A?

I know the person I suspect of being A is not the person I hope it will be.

Wooh found my PLL people! Might have to rewatch the latest season again before April. I personally think it's Veronica. Or Melissa.

Help me out with the Veronica theory... Is it because she's not Spencer's mum?
She did want Alex (tennis boy) and Spencer to break up and that did happen due to A...
Is it because she's a mean ol' attorney?

I think because she knew her husband and Jessica had an affair (Jason was born) and then she was perhaps forced to take on Spencer (another dilaurentis) baby as her own. Maybe she was sick of the lies and resented Spencer as being majorly part of the family she hated. I think it's also why she was overly harsh on Spencer about literally everything

Slightly off topic but is the fortune teller at the homecoming dance in Season 1 the same actress who played Gypsy in Gilmore Girls?

Another totally random thought..,I've just got to end of the homecoming episode yet again and 'A' changes the population number on the town sign. Random stream of consciousness made me think of Twin Peaks credits and then I started to ponder how often an American town would update the population on the town sign. Even in a small town there might be a fair few births and deaths each year. Is it updated at the beginning of each year?

Rusty I thought of that too when I saw the episode. Surely they can't change it every time someone is born or dies? But it's always such a precise number, they can't be rounding up or down.

Also - why do they display it? Does anyone really care?!

I think it's updated every census or every couple of censuses...

My dad did that to our population sign when I was born. But, to be fair, the population of where I was born has been around 800 forever. So they've probably never needed to update the sign there haha.

Bethany Young was the Radley patient that was murdered the night of Alison's disappearance. A year later, her body was discovered and incorrectly identified as Alison DiLaurentis. She was hit on the head by Mona, thinking she was Alison, and was later buried by Melissa, who also thought she was Alison and that she was protecting her sister, Spencer (who was high on ADD drugs!) SO CONFUSING

I've just sat down with my disgusting green smoothie and am watching the pilot. I'm committed now. Going to make an attempt to definitively rule people out as I go!

Pilot thoughts (am like 5 minutes in): Isn't it interesting that Alison disappeared a month before Aria comes back from Iceland, and A has been silent that whole time? I know we're operating under the assumption that Mona is the A involved at this point (though I think it's likely that there has always been an Uber A), but why is Aria so important to have around that A stayed silent for a year til she got back to start tormenting them?

I still find Maya odd. I wonder if she ever actually went to reform school, or whether she was somewhere else during that time.

Haha SuperBeagle have fun, I'm doing the same and excitedly watching out for clues.

As for Maya if you go on YouTube there might be a 25 minute fan video about how Maya is AD and didn't actually die that I've never watched ever.

Unlikely though as I may also have obsessively followed the main girls on Instagram when they were filming the last episodes and would have spotted odd characters in the table read photos etc. Mona however is totally in the final episode.

Ooh what? I thought A in s1 was always Charlotte/CeCe but helped by Mona who was sort of also A? Then again Noel Khan is creepy from day one and is some kind of A in s7. My goodness, so many possibilities. I'm so confused.

Good point about being able to spot them during the filming...

I was under the impression that Mona was original A but Charlotte stole the game for her. But I've never been convinced of that (and could be wrong, anyway).
