PLL - Who do you think A is?

I've been re-watching PLL, and I want to know your A theories.

Alternatively, who do you want to be A?

I know the person I suspect of being A is not the person I hope it will be.

Jason's an odd duck. I wonder about his involvement with the Carisimi (so?) group.

Did we ever find out what that was all about? It was the same group which was mentioned when Elliot/Archer ripped of Alison, right?

I've sort of been in love with Toby and Caleb from the start, so I'm hoping not one of them. Does anyonr find it weird on the times when Ezra teams up with them? Fast warming to the "Ezra is A" thing now.

Jason could definitely be in the running, always there in the background but never really doing much of anything to make him a suspect.

And if Jason IS in the running, then why?

I don't think we've been told much about the carisimi group (no idea how they're spelling that) possibly on purpose. I do remember reading that it was going to be important though.

Hmmm...could Jessica be involved then? It would have to be something big for my "Mary is in the hole" theory to stand up. Someone may have killed Mary thinking she was Jessica, and, knowing she was in danger, she pretended to be her sister. If neither of them are actually A, they may still have been dunding all she did through the company.

We haven't been told really anything about the group. Jason was also a part of the NAT club early on... so something else to add to his list as a suspect.

I love Caleb. He's so gorgeous.

Why is the best question because nobody really has a motive for this level of torment, except maybe Jenna, but I do feel like that's too obvious. Although I would be happy with Jenna as A, at least it would all add up. I'm pretty sure Jenna can see too.

A really needs to have a decent motive, an awful lot of time and money and the ability to keep up something like this for so long. There's not really anyone I can think of that we know to have all of the above.

But if we're jumping on the Ezra is A train, did he not get a mysterious load of cash from "selling a car" around the same time jason gave someone a reward for info on Alison? Was that ever explained properly? Maybe I missed it. He also has a super rich family and plenty of time on his hands. We've seen how sneaky he can be. Not sure about motive though.

My DP also thinks Mary is Jessica. He's absolutely convinced.

I'm leaning towards the aria theory myself.

Ezra and Ali had a thing way back when, didn't they? Maybe something there is motivation

I so think Aria was supposed to be A originally. Would be awesome if they managed to make it one of the main 5 now

I suppose both Ezra and Jason may want to keep the girls in Rosewood, would this be enough motive?

The "Jenna can see" thing, you may have a point there. If she was totally blind, whe would have acute echo awareness, and would have been able to tell where the girls were in the creepy hospital, even though they stopped speaking. I have good days and bad days with my sight (10% vision in one eye, 30 in the other) and I can hear a lot more in my surroundings than a person with average sight.

I don't see how it could be one of the five, as we've seen things happen to all of them individually when there was no one around to convince- ie, they didn't have to act being targeted to avoid being found out (like when Mona got the text in s2)

Ezra does make a very good candidate.

I agree that it'd be hard for them to make it one of the girls now (although people still seem to think it could be Alison), but this is PLL

See I do think Jenna could be enabling Toby, so while she's not causing anything, She's not preventing it either. She won't expose Toby because she loves him and wants the revenge herself anyway.

Keeping the girls in rosewood seems like a possible motive.

If it's going to be one of the girls it would be easiest to make it Alison I think. There's still a lot we don't know about her and she still seems separate from the other four.

I was workimg on the fact that AD drove Jenna away from the creepy hospital, which would have eliminated so many people. But after someone pointed out that it may not have been AD, my head is madhed all over again! I feel all unclever now!

Definitely. And she has the most convoluted backstory and her family is all kinds of bizarre.

I do think it has to be more than one person in on it. Like one Uber A, but with at least one person working for them. Jenna and Toby could be a good one

pop I've also assumed that that was A. We seem like such novices at this sleuthing business! But it gives it a whole new perspective now

Of course, we knownwe have more coming from Wren. The fact that Archer hid his brittish accent is a giveaway.
